                                                                             Chapter 2

When dad finally arrived I was just relieved I didn't have to deal with my dweeb brother! So, I rushed out the door to embrace my father. He came home with some little girl he had to "protect" from Missouri. Her name Renee' Jenson. She was 10 years old and way too mature for Adam. She was acting as if she were my age. I guess it looked like she was my new sister friend for a while. I had a bunk bed, exactly for this reason. My dad has a weird job where he has to have little girls to take home and protect as if they were any other adopted child. She curtsied to me, as I did back. "Hello ma'am, I am Renee', Renee' Jenson. I am 10 years old. I am a very lonely girl." She exclaimed calmy with a slight smile that looked like she forced onto her small face. Her face was cream white. With shiny hazel eyes that fit her so perfectly. Her teeth looked like she had only been caring for them over all her body, they were pearl white! Kind of hurt to look at because it was hard to see because of how bright it was. She was wearing a ballet pink dress that was knee short. With high white leg stockings, paired with light pink flats. Her hair seemed silky, smooth, and long. About 15 inches! It was beach blonde. She dangled with jewelery all over her. I stared at her gulping every few seconds as if she were... Well... If she was a... Ghost. I did not believe in ghosts since my aunt Jen died. I was not very close to her so I did not know what she wanted from me. I decided to give Renee' a chance and bring her to my room where she will be bunking with me. "Do you want the top or bottom?" I asked making a welcoming smile. "Bottom would be great. So I can get in and out easier. Plus, the farther under, the darker. The more privacy there is." She said smirking back.

I was impressed with her vocabulary for a 10 year old. "Oh okay! Do you need help unpacking? I am free for the whole night because since dad is home for a while. To keep you protected and stuff." I said with much reasoning. "Oh yes! I have a lot of books, do you have bookshelfs available?" She asked staring behind me like I had two heads. "Yes! Right behind me actually. I have much free space considering I don't share a room anymore." I exclaimed as I kneeled to put away books in ABC order. She thanked me at least 50 times! Until I was eventually done putting away the books, and when she was done stocking her own clothes away. I grabbed her hand and chuckled, "Wanna see my dog, Simen? He is such a cutie! You would absolutely love him!" I said starting to run when I felt her tug me back. "What's wrong?" I asked in confusion. "Oh dear, I am afraid and allergic to dogs." She concluded looking pale and blank. My dad had over heard us talking about it. He came over to us and pondered, "We will be getting rid of Simen today, Ramilia. I am sorry. Would you wanna go say your goodbyes?" I was so scared but I evntually said, "No, I am not giving up Simen that easy! We had him for 2 years! Two amazing yeas, dad! She just got here. I am not changing for her." I cried. Suddenly, Mila walked in to see me crying. Just to make it worse Ryan was right at the front door. I felt like dying! I hid my face between my legs and ebraced my curled legs to make it a little more comfordable. I crawled away when no one was paying attention as usual. I grabbed a suit case and packed, almost all food that did not refrigerating or stove. I got some clothes, and a few memories. A couple appliances, too. Just  so I don't look like a hobo out on my quest out. My suit case was full. I got another and packed, dog food, dog comfort, my own comfort, a few blankets, and a dog comb. As I ran downstairs everyone was out front looking for something, I think Mila's purse. But, why ouside? Oh well, gives me a chance to make a break. So I grabbed Simen, and headed out the back door. When everyone went inside, I was about 8 miles from home, and saw a hotel. I realized I accidently had caught Mila's purse on my luggage! I looked inside and saw loads of cash. I must have been lucky.

I got real tired and so did Simen, it was late. There was a hotel about a half of a mile. So, I decided I was going to sneak Simen in. The check in counter was so stupid to let a 14 year old girl with 'moving luggage' get a room alone. Well, once again I guess I was lucky. When I entered the room it smelled like the beach. It had one queen sized bed. I started to take a shower and give Simen a bath. Everytime I looked in the bath I saw a reflection of Renee' holding a bloody knife. With a straight face. It was creepy, but I ignored it as usual. Simen finally stopped squirming when I dried him off and set his bed down on the bed right next to me. I left the light from the bathroom on because I was not a fan of being alone in something like a house. Simen and I cuddled because I still felt kind of scared. Everytime I closed my eyes, the image of Renee' appeared. "Ramilia, it's okay, it is not real. Just your imagination." I had a quick chat with myself. Which eventually calmed me down. I fell asleep and then woke up from some dream about Renee'. I looked around, I couldn't find Simen! I started to freak, my heart started racing! I cried and prayed before I got out of bed. I got Simen's favorite toy, and my favorite stuffed animal. I was booked on the fourth floor out of five. I started off going to the irst floor. I went around like an idiot, squeaking a rubber duck around. Honestly, I did not care what other people thought about me. I just wanted Simen back. I checked every floor. Except from floor number five. Floor number five was blocked off from everyone. It was blocked off because it was always dark and heard to be haunted. So, everyone left the hotel unless they would just block it off. So, I cried and built up the nerve to go. I went up taking forever to get up one step at a time. Squaking the rubber duck, havin snot drip out of my nose, water dripping a mile a minute down my red cheeks. Eventually I was up the stairs, I was in the middle of the hallway and then started heaing someone whisper low and echoey, "Ramiliaa..." Over and over again which made me cry more. I squaked the rubber duck out of control. I felt over powered and dropped the duck and said, "What?" Never getting a responce. I started ripping my hair out! I heard the ice machin from the back of the floor. That was where my name was being called. I went in the isolated room. Looked around the bright room, the lights flickered off. I saw a shadow in front of me, then the lights went back on. Then, I didn't see anything. I turned around to go back to floor number four. I saw Renee' standing right in front of me. She was bloody. "Ramilia please help me! I was killed by my brother and he is in this building please save yourself! He is coming to look for you. I saved Simen. Here you go. I wanted him to be safe because he was running around everywhere. I hear my brother now. Please be careful...?" She bellowed in a really fast voice. "I will!" I said quietly and confidently...
