It was around 10:30 P.M on a Thursday night and I was sitting on my couch watching something like America's next top model or something like that when I heard a knock on my apartment's front door, not being sure who would be knocking on my door at that time of night I didn't get to close to the door.
"Who is it?" I asked ready with a baseball bat with in arms reach "i-its me Blaine, K-Kurt H-Hummel, c-can we c-come i-in?" The voice of a man I was still in love with said. But what did he mean by we? I went over to the door and opened it to reveal Kurt Hummel holding a girl that looked to be around 6 or 7 whom was sleeping and he looked like he had been crying. "Kurt come in," I said pulling him through the door and slamming it shut.
I'm a cop and can tell when someone was scared of being followed, or attacked and Kurt had all the signs. "Sit down," I said gently. "What's happening Kurt?" I asked. Kurt took a few deep breaths and calmed down bit. The little girl in his lap was still fast asleep and he adjusted her in his lap.
"After we broke up I married an older man 29 years older than me. 2 years later Ella this one, was born, everything changed after that, Walter started staying out late or not coming home at all and then when Ella was sleeping he would be verbally abusive, I can take a few insults here and there but then when Ella turned 3 I told Walter I wanted another baby and he flipped out and started hitting me and calling me a slut. I left with Ella that night and stayed a few days with Rachel but I came back after he apologized. And everything went back to normal for a few years but today I found out I'm pregnant again and I told him and he flipped out again and hit me again and called Ella a mistake. He threatened to kill both of us and he started to Hit Ella l, she's actually knocked out, so I ran. I don't have anywhere else to go Rachel moved to L.A with Finn and Mercedes is also in L.A, so I got ob facebook and found you live close by and ware a cop so I came here," he said.
"You can stay here as long as you want or need, do you or Ella want anything to eat or Drink?" I asked "um I think Ella will need something when she comes to," he said. "Should I take her to the hospital? I don't want him to find us but I'm worried about her," he added "i would she's fine how many hits did he get ib?" I asked "only 1 or 2" Kurt sighed. "I would say she'll be fine," I remarked.
