Clouds appears above the trees, as we walk down the path, that was only illuminated by the stars and moon above. We huddled together and got ready for the worst. For the rain to strike us coldly, the thunder to scream through the night, and the lightning to pierce the silence. And yet, after what felt like hours, we realised, not as much, as a single drop had not enbraced our skin, and behind us, over the edge of the cliff, where the stars where, the sky had turned a beautiful pink. And you and I watched as the sun came up, the trees wavered, from a gust of cool, but welcoming air, with birds singing along to the rustling of leaves, the clouds departing, to make way for a sky filled with nothing but color, And reminded us, we are alive, we are together, and we are happy. And nothing else is needed, but the mingling of our mind and soul. To become ourselves, together
