The warm sunlight pours through the thin white curtains and into the light coloured room where nothing but the steady beeping from the heart monitor and light snoring could be heard.
"They look so peaceful." A voice says as they stand at the end of the bed closest to the window. They lean against the wall next to the large window as they stare at your face, their own softening as they grip the bouquet in their hands.
Their black hair wasn't slicked back like usual, instead, it was parted in the middle, strands covering their dark coloured eyes. Their jaw clenches as another figure strolls towards them, a frown also on their face.
