Team Free Will x Reader

Start from the beginning

After a while Dean stands up to get a beer and asks if anyone wants anything. You all say no and go back to reading.

Just as Dean walks back into the room, beer in hand, Sam stands up suddenly. He puts the book he was reading on the table, leaving it open to the correct page, and grabs another book from his finished pile. He flips through the pages until he finds the one he was looking for, then slides it next to the other book, running his fingers over the words on each page.

"I found something." He says, looking up with a gleam in his eyes. "I didn't find a way to get you back home." He says sadly, frowning quickly before looking back to the books.

"But, what I did find is a way to see the other y/n. We can see how she's doing." He explains slowly, making eye contact with each of you, making sure you understand.

"So we'll be able to... see into the other world? My world?" You ask, feeling oddly detached. You feel a strange feeling deep in your chest and try to shrug it off.

Cas gets up and stands beside Sam, trying to get a good look at the words on the page. Dean walks around the side of the table, leaning against Cas to get a good look as well. There share a quick glance and you smile slightly.

"Destiel." You say quietly, coughing to cover it up, you enjoy each of there reactions. Sam holds back laughter, Cas frowns and looks between the brothers confused and Dean sends you a glare that could kill.

You stand as well and watch from the corner of the table as they all read over the pages. Sam's eyes brighten as he reads, eagerly taking in the information, Cas the same as he has looked since you got here, though the slight frown seems to lessen a little and Dean is frowning with his lips puckered slightly. You smile at how the way they read fits them perfectly.

"I can get all of these ingredients. Just give me a moment." Cas says, reading quickly over the words again, nodding to himself. And then in a blink, he's gone.

A few minutes later Cas pops back in, with a hand full of odd things, small containers of strange herbs, jars of liquids with labels you can't even pronounce.

Dean sets a small cloth with writing that you recognize from the show in the middle of the table and Sam sets a bowl in the centre of the cloth.

They start putting stuff in the bowl and mixing herbs and liquids. When they are finished the lights are turned off, candles are light and you all stand at the four sides of the table. Sam to you left, Dean on the right and Cas across from you.

You hold hands and Cas begins to chant what you recognize as Latin under his breath. You follow the boys example and close your eyes.

At first all you see is the black of your eyelids, but slowly dull colours start to swarm across your vision. It begins to look like oil spilled on the pavement. Slowly, things come in to focus, images flash across your vision too quick to comprehend. You hear Cas' voice getting louder, more urgent, yet it sounds like you're listening to it through a wall.

As his voice gets louder the picture become more clear, seem to slow down.

You see you're bedroom, a place where you used to hide, kept in the dark, except it's different, the curtains are pulled open and music is playing. The scene is happy, unlike your own experiences. You or rather she, lies on your bed, reading one of the many novels that used to lie untouched on your shelf.

The images flash and now she sits at a café you always planned to go to, you would past it on your way home. She sits at a booth against the window, holding a mug with a soft smile paying across her lips as she watches the traffic go by.
