Subaru: What the hell was that?!

Regulus: What the hell was what? You need to tell me what you're tal-

Subaru: Look, I know I'm interupting you or whatever, but you seriously need to realize what you've done.

Regulus: So you DO realize you're disrespecting me then?! Who do you think you are to insult someone as great as me?!

Subaru: Look, I'm going to check on Emilia, and you better don't duel anyone here, got it?!

Before Regulus could say anything, Subaru ran off, presumebly towards Emilia.

Regulus: Did....Did that idiot just order me?!

???: Regulus Corneas?

Regulus turned around and saw a male with purple hair and yellow eyes. Plus, he was wearing the Imperial knight uniform.

???: My name is Julius Juukulius. I am part of the Imperial knights and I would like you to come with me.

Regulus was honestly suprised. Someone respectful? And he asked to come with him instead of demanding it? He figured that it wouldn't hurt to go along with him and see what he wants.

Regulus: I suppose that's fine. Lead the way then, but don't waste my time. It would be rather unpleasant.

But what Regulus didn't know was that Julius was about to challange him to a duel.

They arrived a bit later to what seemed like a.....battle arena?

Regulus: So, what buisness do you have with one as great as myself?

Julius: I'll get straight to the point. Regulus Corneas. I Julius Juukulius challange you to a duel.

At his words, Regulus's face turned into a frown.

Regulus: Of course....No one could actually be respectful in this place. It shocks me that your responsible for the protection of this country. No wonder this country is failing when they have people like you to protect the average person.

Julius seemed unfazed at Regulus's words.

Julius: You accept, right? If you truly want to back up your disrespectful words at the Royal Election, then prove it to us in a duel.

Regulus:....Me? Disrespectful? Who the hell do you think you are?! How much of a hypocrite are you?! This is completely ridiculous....But I'll humor you, fine. I accept this duel of yours!

Julius simply nodded an explained the rules to him there and gave him 10 minutes to prepare.

Regulus was standing in the tunnel  waiting for the 10 minutes to be over.

Why was he so eager to go out there and duel him?

Because Regulus would teach those damn knights a lesson.....

By killing him.

But of course, his thoughts were interupted by one of the most idiotic people he knows.

Subaru: Honestly, I'm not sure why I thought that there was a chance you'd listen.

Regulus: Why should I listen to you? I have no oblication to someone like you. If you actually thought I would listen to someone as pathetic as you, then your nothing more than a fool. A fool who needs to be taught a lesson.

Subaru:...Regulus-senpai...I know I can't stop you from fighting Julius, but can I ask you a favor?

Regulus: Seriously?! Another favor?! What makes you think that I'll just do all these favors for you?! Do I look like a slave to you?!

Subaru: No, but I think you'll like my idea.

Regulus: What makes you say that? Aren't you just assuming such a thing? You think you can just predict me, me?!

Subaru: Instead of killing Julius....Torture him.

Subaru felt disgusted at his own words. But he had to say it, Regulus would stop at just knocking him out, so to make sure he didn't kill Julius, he'll convince him to do something else.

Regulus seemed genuinely suprised for a moment.

Regulus: Oh? This seems rather weird behaviour coming from you. Why would you suggest that? What makes you think that I'm an insane killer, huh?!

Subaru: I don't think that....But killing him would cause a lot of people to bother you, right? But if you torture him just enough to not cripple him, then no one will bother you again, and you'll prove your point to them.

Subaru really wanted to puke now. He hates saying this, but for Julius's sake, he had to stop Regulus from killing him.

Regulus...The man who can't stop talking was for just a moment silent....But that didn't last as he spoke up.

Regulus: Normally I wouldn't do this kind of thing, but since you actually suggested a decent idea for once, I'll do that to truly show them what someone as amazing as me can do!

Subaru was relieved....slightly, he wasn't really confident that he could actually convince him to not kill him. But he somehow managed.

Subaru: Before you go I have one more question, why did you walk out when the old guy asked you to?

Regulus: Oh, I proved my point already didn't I? What was the point staying there? So that they continue to disrespect a great being like me?

Subaru: Ah.

With that, Subaru left. Despite being the cause for the upcoming torture, he didn't want to see it.

Even if he felt Julius kinda deserved it for what he did to him. But he knows that Regulus will REALLY torture him, not just hurt him.

So he didn't want to watch. Like a coward.

And so, Regulus walked out of the tunnel onto the arena, the stands were filled with just knights as they cheered on Julius.

Julius had took off his cape and was holding a beatiful, elegant metal sword.

Reinhard seemed to be trying to convince him to stop this, but he wasn't having it.

A knight walked up to Regulus and gave him a similar one.

Julius: For your disrespect against the Sage Council. I Julius Juukulius sentence you to death!

As he said that, he pointed his sword at Regulus.

The knights cheered as they figured that Julius was sure to win.

There was no possible way that he could lose to some average looking brat, right?

Oh boy.

Regulus Corneas was going to enjoy this.

I know another cliffhanger, sorry. I'm going to sleep now, and i'll try my best tommorow to give you the actual duel.
