You woke up in a warm area, with creaking and the sound of hushed voices talking to each other. A clock seemed to be chiming too, but you didn't move from where you were. Someone had grabbed you while you were trying to make a getaway, and it was probably a lost cause to try to get out of this now. What could even be said now?

A deep grumble sounded from my stomach, and the hushed voices quieted. Guess it's time to actually look alive, huh. I sat up and rubbed my eyes gently as what hopefully was a blanket fell down my arms and chest from where it was tucked in. After a good stretch, I open my eyes to see the Lords and daughters staring at me, each with a unique look on their faces. The first one to open their mouth was Lady Dimitrescu, but she quickly closed it.

"Why am I here?"

I look as all of them exchange a look between each other and then look at me.

In unison they all return the question, "Why are you here?" I nervously rub a hand against the nape of my neck. Do I tell them the actual truth or lie? I can't just say I was travelling by or that I just thought it was up for grabs.

A clock in the background chimes loudly, signifying that a hour has passed by. What should I say? They aren't even distracted by the time? It could be near supper for all I know, when I had went to steal it was around noon after all.  "I uhm," I clear my throat a little before I continue thinking and speaking as the thoughts form. "I uhm didn't have- have any uh place to go. So I thought that maybe I'd uhm, live off of you?" I nervously laugh and continue rubbing my nape before I sigh and bring my hands onto my lap. "I'm lying now aren't I, maybe I should just start off with my name. I'm Y/N, Y/N L/N."

Lady Dimitrescu seems to find her voice again and steps forward with a false and uncomfortable smile. "Dear, we just want to know why you were stealing from us. Not to be rude or offending but you don't exactly look like you know who we are."

I give her a similar smile. "I know who you guys are, and I know that stealing from you guys is a poor idea, but I don't know what business you guys have with me. I just, want something other than a poorly made shack a few miles away from here for once in my life...." I sigh and quietly say the last part as best as I can. I didn't want to tell them, but I don't feel I have a choice if I want to go back.

Lord Heisenberg steps forward and places a hand on his hip and points the other towards a curtained window. "You mean that shack up there is yours? It certainly needs some maintenance if you live there. Doesn't even have fresh running water for the bath and sinks." He moves the pointed hand to his other hip and awaits an answer.

I laugh nervously. "Yeah, that's my house. Been there since I can remember. The lake is always open to me so I never have to worry about the fresh running water you talk about. And all the so called maintenance it needs is done by me, so I'm open for tips." I try to hide how badly his words did hurt because of how apparently poor I kept the shack. I was so proud of when I first got the lights to work, it took so long for them to finally work. I tried my hardest, I really did.

He doesn't say anything else, but he does stare a little longer before nodding to the other Lord, Lord Moreau, and walking off. "Well, if even Ka- I mean Heisenberg thinks the place you call 'home' is in distress, we shall give you a place to stay until it's fixed. How does that sound, dear?" Lady Dimitrescu smiles softly at me now, she even offers me her hand. I hesitantly look at her and her extended hand, and then look around to the other Lords around to see if they approve. Lord Moreau is twiddling with his hands and humming softly, when he notices me looking though he smiles bashfully and rocks on his heels back and forth softly, gently shaking his head in a yes motion. The others are also nodding, some more enthusiastically than others. After seeing everyone's approval, I take her hand and nod. "It's settled then! We welcome you with open arms."

She puts her other hand on top of the one I gave her, and squeezes gently before she lets go and heads out of the room. The daughters all follow her lead and with that leaves Lord Moreau, Angie, and Lady Beneviento. Angie immediately runs towards me squealing happily as she tugs on the blankets. "Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi! Oh my goodness you smell horrible, and you have such tattered clothes! This simply will not do, Salvatore and us will have to change that. Won't we?" She looks to the other two with a big smile that reaches her ears.

Lady Beneviento stands up and nods, looking towards Lord Moreau -- I don't know if I can call him by his actual name yet, so for now I'll stick with his title until further notice. -- for his help. he nods and smiles at us. So I get up and Angie immediately grabs my hand and begins running before I can even finish my sentence properly. "Lead the- WAyYYyY-". She just giggles as she drags you throughout the snowy grounds and towards the large manor all of these Lords call home. Gosh I forgot how cold it was, I look behind me to see the other two shutting and locking the door before they follow behind.

The small what seems to be guest house fades into the beautiful Romanian atmosphere as you all approach the large doors of the manor. You've never been this close before, at least not this close to see the wonderful details of the outside steps and the beautiful wood of the manor. The creaking steps are the only thing that are the same from that guest house that you'll probably never see again.
