Nerd Alert • Hypothetically

Corbyn:Shhhhhh it's ok, it's ok. I'm here now I've got you ok? I'm not ever gonna let him near you again. I promise with all my heart I'm gonna do everything I can to protect you.

His words made me feel safe and I trust Corbyn. He always keeps his promise. But this promise was different. This promise wasn't just for fun or as a joke. He said it with his heart. I look up at him and see his blue ocean eyes looking right at me.

Corbyn:I promise, I will protect you with all that I am.

I laid my head on his chest as I watched two cops shove Carter into the back of a cop car. Handcuffs on his wrist and blood dripping down his nose. "Carter Derry, you're under arrest for sexual assault to Y/n Y/l/n." That night. Everything changed.

*End of Flashback*

I woke up the next day to someone getting into my bunk, I turn and see Corbyn. I smile and lay my head on his chest. He wraps his arms around me, holding me close and tight. I remember last night and sigh.

You:I'm guessing you heard what happened last night?

Corbyn:Yea..I did. I'm not happy about what he said but..He's Jonah so.

You:I get that he wants to protect me but sometimes he keeps me away from true happiness.

Corbyn:Have you told him that?

You:Not directly but it wouldn't even matter cause he wouldn't listen even if I tried to tell him.

Corbyn:You should tell him

You:If he reacted that way about a not so hypothetical situation..Corbyn

Corbyn:Ok ok ok take your time alright? One thing at a time. Forget about Jonah and the guys, today is about me and you remember?

You:Our date

Corbyn:Yes and if you don't get ready, I'm gonna start crying like a baby

You:Awww a little baby bean, I wanna see that.

Corbyn:What? No this is the part where you run to the back and get ready.

You:Can we stay here and cuddle? Pleaseee? Just for a few minutes then I'll get ready, I promise.

Corbyn:Five minutes. By the way, I love your hoodie. Where'd you get it?

You:Oh haha very funny

He chuckles as I snuggle into his chest. We stayed like that for a few minutes, mostly talking about life. Eventually time passed by and we went over our time limit.

Corbyn:Alright enough cuddling, go get ready.

You:Fineeee

I kiss his cheek and get out my bunk. I went to the back room, closed the door and got ready.

I put on my shoes and went back to my bunk. I find Corbyn still in my bunk on his phone. I close the curtain slightly so the boys don't see him.

You:Excuse you sir, what are you doing?

Corbyn:Waiting for you

You:You couldn't bother to close the curtain?

Corbyn:I'm sorryyyy

I put the hoodie by my pillow as Corbyn sets down his phone and looks at me. He looks me up and down then licks his lips. I blush and giggle a bit.

You:Don't you dare get any ideas mister.

Corbyn:You are so beautiful

You:You're not so bad yourself

We both blush and smile. He kisses my cheek.

You:Now get out of my bunk before someone catches you.

He chuckles and gets out of my bunk. He leans back on the bunk across from mine, acting like he's been there the whole time. Just then we see Jonah and Zach walking past us.

Zach:You two look suspicious

You:As if

Corbyn:Why do we look suspicious?

Jonah:You look like you're hiding something.

You:We're not hiding anything and even if we were I'd hide it in my ass

I smile innocently at them and Corbyn chuckles. Jonah raises an eyebrow at me.

Jonah:What ass?

You:You're just jealous cause I have more ass than you

Jonah:Sure ok

You:Why are you being such a jerk lately?

Jonah:I have my reasons

You:I wanna know

Jonah:Tell me the truth about you and Corbyn then I'll tell you

You:I already did tell you

Jonah:Yea like I'm gonna believe that crap

You:I told you the truth you just didn't like it and that's not my problem

Jonah:Alright fine. Corbyn.

Corbyn:I didn't do anything

Jonah:Tell me the truth.

Corbyn:There's nothing going on

Jonah:If you don't tell me the damn truth then you're out of this band!
