Heart 1: Welcome to Japan

March, a month where students can finally let loose after spending a year of torture in a place called school.

There were holidays, but they can only be savored for a short while.

The 'break' in my dictionary is comparable to a worry-less summer vacation, where you can spend it with your family and friends.

   There were some complications though.

Through the years, I've had my studies in the States. Nursery to Elementary, I'm quite sure that I made some friends.

Upon reaching Middle School, it was only then that I'd spent my first and last school year in California, before moving to Japan.

You were obviously thinking; "Why would you move there, knowing that you would be struggling with the language of the country?"

The reason; My Mom got engaged.

She was so happy about it. Despite having an uneasy feeling in my stomach, I couldn't help but feel happy for her.

Mom had told before that she was rejected by a guy that she loved with all her heart. When he found about Mom being pregnant, that stupid rando just left her in the dust.

And the poor excuse made by that guy was quote; "I wasn't ready to take responsibility of raising a child."

If I ever met that piece of shit, I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind.

Meanwhile Grandpa Berns, who owned a bakery, acted as my father figure while Mom works full-time at a hospital.

My new father, William Ryusubi, was a salaryman. He got injured in a car accident after their business trip in America. While my mother, Marcelina Ashton, was assigned to care for him.

There was a lot of stupid and sappy clichés that had happened. After that whole fiasco, Will finally gave her the ring.

When Mom introduced William to my Grandpa, everything had gone smoothly. I guess that Grandpa Berns went through the same experience as him when meeting my Grandma's parents.

After we've settled in Tokyo, Will took care of us by teaching the language. He also got my Mom to work at a hospital, where his friend was also working.

No matter how much we wish to bring him with us, Grandpa stayed behind. He said that he just couldn't leave the bakery, stating that it was his pride and joy.

And so, we decided that we would give him a call three times every month.

When I resumed taking classes, I was nervous and anxious about being in a Japanese class.

Luckily, I had my friends by my side.

My first meeting with Althea was after my introduction in class. She came all the way from Germany and move to Japan because she was interested in Japanese literature.

She got me hooked with anime, lending me novels and manga. Althea sometimes spoils me with the plot, but I don't mind. It was still enjoyable, due to the fact that I would forget everything that she spoons into my mind.

And regrettably, she got me addicted to BL. This is where that line goes; "Once you go in, you can never go back."

Despite being an Otaku, she's an excellent President of the Student Council. I just don't know how she manages, but Althea has my respect for her dedication.

My first impressions Zach was as follows; One, a typical jock stereotype that bullies unpopular kids at school. Two, a friendly jock stereotype that's friends with nice people.
