chapter 4: the party

(TW: this chapter involves drugging and almost SA)

Katherine's pov: I was getting ready for a party I was going to Dominik was gonna stay home I walked out and went to Dominik "I'm ready" I said he nodded and grabbed his keys and we headed to the car I was excited since it's my first ever party on the drive there he started telling me the basic rules of parties like don't accept drinks or leave my drink anywhere and if I don't trust anyone there just take it with me stuff like that he pulled up and walked me in and I promised that I'd call him every 15 minutes I waved when he left I walked in and got myself a drink

Dominik's pov: its been an hour I didn't wanna seem creepy by calling Kat when she didn't call I was worried about her I sighed and looked at the coffee table "huh she left her phone here" I said and grabbed it "maybe I should drop it off to her just in case she needs it for her games" she loved playing them I got up and went to my car and got in driving to where the party was I walked in and asked around until somebody finally told me she had been taken to the bathroom by a guy my eyes widen "uh where is the bathroom??" I asked she pointed up the stairs "take a left" she said I nodded and rushed up the stairs to the bathroom and checked if it was unlocked it was and I rushed in seeing a guy pulling down her underwear I saw red and I tackled him and started punching him Idk where I got the strength I threw him into the wall and closed my eyes and slide Katherine's underwear back on her and picked her up taking her back home I lied her down I realized that guy looked oddly familiar I just now had to hope the owners had cameras just in case the guy tried pressing charges on me I sat down waiting for Kat to wake up I got her some water and set it next to her I walked off to the kitchen to grab a drink myself until I heard her wake up and I walked over she looked around panicked "oh I'm home I had a bad dream" she said I sighed not sure if I should tell her or not or how I would tell her Katherine got the water and drank it "that party was fun" she said I looked at her "Kat... something happened idk how to tell you" I said she looked confused "just tell me I can handle it" she said I sat down and looked her in the eyes "Kat you were drugged and he almost did stuff to you but you had left your phone here and I was gonna bring it to you until I didn't see you I asked around and somebody told me you were in the bathroom and some guy was with you and you didn't look awake either so I caught him and beat the hell out of him" I explained Katherine looked panicked "the one time I go to a party and I thought I was safe" she said and looked down I hugged her and she hugged back "it's ok if you don't want to go to one again that's your choice" I said she nodded "I'm scared to and especially because you probably won't get there in time if it happens again" she said and got up "I'm gonna go change" she said I nodded and sat there and grabbed the tv remote to turn on a movie to watch Katherine came back and sat next to me seeing I had put on one of our favorite movies we watched movies all night and ate sweet snacks and pizza we laughed at the movie and had a better time
