Welcome To Stone City Part 1

Part 1: the beginning

Three years- that's how long it had been since Leo had seen his parents alive.

3 Years ago; I had just moved to Stone City, a city known for its stones. I had moved there with my friend Jordan whom I secretly had a crush on but I wouldn't let him know of course. Things had started off right when we first moved everyone was really welcoming but whenever it was night time something was off- different, I could tell something wasn't right about this place because at night no one and yes i know what u are thinking who would come out of their house at 11 o'clock at night well it wasn't eleven o'clock it was actually 7:45 everyone would go into there house and lock the doors we had just moved in and nobody had told us about that, we thought it was strange but at the time thought nothing of it so one night I was talking to jordan on the phone and we wanted to both talk about how all the adults in the neighborhood would go into their houses 15 minutes before 8 PM and we honestly didn't think anything of it until one night i woke up to what sounded like an ancient language being spoken i couldn't believe what i heard. I learned a lot of languages last summer from my only boys school and I know\ that this language wasn't a known language. So the next night after, me and jordan made plans to spy and get a better look and it turns out that they were doing different type of language and it wasn't just me that had been hearing it. Pretty soon after that We noticed that certain cars hadn't been leaving the driveways and this was three weeks later after we had investigated. I had decided it was time to tell my parents and Jordan told his too but like any other pair of grown-ups of course they thought it was a joke. That same night I hear the language again and this time it seems like its putting me in a trance of some sort, i stand up and see that these people are standing outside in the middle of the road singing the old language again. A week pasess and my dad goes missing and we think nothing of it because he is always on business meetings and usually is gone for a while, well this time he didn't call or anything and he hasn't sent anything back well i knew something was wrong by that time because i know he usually responds to my texts emails or even letters i don't know what's happening, last night i got a text response from his work saying he wasn't out on business because his work car and work credit card had been left at his office so he hadn't left. Well the next day I called Jordan over and we had dinner with my mom. She just ordered pizza. I pull Jordan to my room and I tell him that my dad went missing and hasn't come back. He doesn't respond he just kind of stares at me and i ask him what's wrong and he says he needs to tell me something" I " Jordan I need to actually tell you something first, "what is it Leo" well I've had a

crush on you for a while and i wanted to tell you because i feel like everyone in this neighborhood is leaving or going missing and If u don't want to go out then that's fine because we can still be friends right? But i think that we can be something more even if we go missing as i finish that sentence he ropes me in and kisses me on my lips, my body lights up as if we are the only people in the world at this time, I can feel the soft press of his lips on mine and he tells me i'll be yours forever Leo. The next day passes and we go to the neighbors to see what they are up to and of course it is late at night almost 12 am but the smile on my face soon turns to shock when i see the neighbors around my dad's corpse singing in that weird language again i almost scream but jordan puts a hand around my mouth and he whispers "it's ok" and gives me a hug, i decided that i should go home and go get some rest, so i walk jordan home and then i walk home and goes to bed. The next morning I decided to go to the public library and do some research and it turns out that it was actually a ritual that the neighbors had been doing and that's why they had been speaking in such a strange language. Leo explained to his mom that theneighbors had been going missing and having strange rituals. But of course she doesn't believe me and ends up slamming the door in my face so as always i go back to My supportive boyfriend Jordan, me and him hang out and watch a movie on the couch and after we go out to eat at a fast-food place. The next day comes and i couldn't find my mom i tell jordan and he gives me a hug saying his parents have gone missing to and even he heard people break into his house last night but couldn't get caught so he hid in his closet until he was sure the intruders had left and we also had noticed there was nothing left so it was like jordan's family had never moved in the first place they are always finding ways to make us feel guilty as if we are the ones who did something wrong when we didn't so we were basically crimes to humanity i know that whoever did this wants to mess with us really bad because you don't just sacrifice current parents to the devil for no reason. We had to find a way out of this city without the town's people noticing, then out of nowhere as we were trying to come up with a plan to escape I cried a shock of terror as I watched a sword go through Jordans back and straight through I yell JORDAN! then i feel terrible pain and I blackout, to be continued...
