Fleeing the Scene

Start from the beginning

"HE DID WHAT?!"

The fury inside of him completely took control of him as he pieced things together. Burnt clothing, fear, and injuries all added up together now. His eyes began to glow with a rage that BF had never seen before.

The cyan-haired boy fully expected the ex-rockstar to burst into a fiery inferno of anger, but was surprised to see him simply sit down. His eyes still burned with emotions that BF never thought possible for the demon, but he was grateful that he wasn't going to be caught in the crossfire of his anger.

"Honey, you and your boyfriend go to your mother and get those wounds treated. I need to do something."

GF nodded and grabbed BF's hand, dragging him further into the house, leaving her father in his chair.

Daddy Dearest thought that he had gotten rid of that nuisance a long time ago. An entire year had passed by, and he was back? Where had he been all this time? It didn't make any sense. He had to know how much danger he had just gotten himself into...unless that was the point of all of this.

The demon stood up and began walking to his study, thoughts racing through his head. That bastard was daring him, wasn't he? He had some way of taking him down, and he was trying to do it one piece at a time. His daughter would be first, since that was his first target, but what next? His wife? Although he had full confidence that his wife would be able to handle someone like him, that confidence began to waver. After all, he had the balls to attack his daughter, so obviously he had to have had some kind of battle plan.

"Ok, Tabi. You want a war? You got one. Nobody hurts my family and lives."

Daddy Dearest dialed a number on his phone and put it to his ear, waiting for it to be answered. After an entire minute of ringing, it was finally answered.

"Who the fuck is it, what do ya want? I'm sleepin." A groggy voice came from the other line, clearly still in the process of waking up.

"I have another job for you."

Rustling could be heard from the other end as whoever it was scrambled to get up.

"Daddy D! Sorry, I didn't realize that was you. Whatcha need, who do I need to kill?"

"An old enemy has come back into the light. They've attacked my daughter and her boyfriend, and I'm not just gonna stand by and take that."

"Woah, hold up, BF got attacked too?! Is he ok? He isn't hurt to badly, is he? Shit, what hospital is he at, I wanna see him before I-"

"Pico. Concentrate. BF is fine. Just some burns and maybe some PTSD, both from the explosion."

"A FUCKING EXPLOSION?! AM I GONNA FIGHT A TERRORIST OR SOMETHING?!"

"You're going to be fighting my daughter's Ex Boyfriend. Tabi. He's out for blood. Make sure he doesn't get it."

On the other end of the line, he could hear a gun get cocked.

"Consider it done, Double D. This is personal, now. Hurt my buddy, you get pumped full of lead. Don't worry, when I find him, he won't get out of this in one piece. But uh...how much pay we talking here?"

"I'm willing to pay you three million for his head on a silver platter on my desk in a week."

"WHAT THE HELL, THREE MIL? OH, I'M GETTING ON THAT, BRO, RIGHT THE HELL NOW."

Daddy Dearest smiled in satisfaction, leaning back in his chair as he began to daydream on what it would be like seeing that nuisance dead. Then he began to think. Why wouldn't he just kill him himself? He would be able to torture him for as long as he wanted, see the pain and fear on his face, make him pay for harming his little girl. Yes. That was the better option.

"Pico."

"Yea?"

"I've changed my mind. Bring him here alive. I don't care how injured he is when you bring him. Just make sure he's alive. I'll be doing the rest of the dirty work myself."

He could hear a sigh of relief and a mouse clicking.

"Good, I was kinda worried that you wouldn't be supplying the silver platter. I'm looking online, and that shit is EXPENSIVE, man. 4k for a plate? What the fuck?"

"..."

"...Double D?"

"Just go hunt the fucker down, Pico."

"Got it."

Hanging up the phone, Daddy Dearest looked down at his contacts. A list of other assassins that he had hired to deal with BF was there, and all of them had failed. But it got him thinking. If BF had managed to beat them, but also beat Tabi, then maybe they wouldn't be completely useless this time around?

He had a few more calls to make, it would seem.
