"If I play my cards right and they were too foolish to have stuck around, then I might only have to worry about Dearest goons instead of the government as well...The last thing I need is to be branded as a terrorist."
After walking for a while, he managed to reach the back of the apartment that he was staying in for the year that he had been planning. Moving around the front, he climbed up the stairs to his apartment door and attempted to unlock it. When he dropped the keys, he muttered a curse and tried to kneel to get them back. However, it seemed that his adrenaline was wearing off, and he was in extreme pain now.
Grunting in effort, he managed to pick them up and unlocked the door while still on the ground, basically crawling into his home at this point. He was in too much pain to stand up anymore. He could only crawl to his sofa and drag himself onto it.
Tabi laid there, pain coursing through his body as he felt the consequences of his actions. It was stupid to do what he did. He was burnt in several places, and he was bruised all over. He'd be surprised if he didn't have any broken bones.
"Why didn't I just...detonate the bombs without me in there? Sure, I placed the bombs where only she and I would die from the explosion, but it looks like we're both far more durable than I anticipated. Agh...Perhaps I should have let others die..."
He laid there, the pain beginning to subside from him keeping still, and he could feel his consciousness slipping away. He needed to let himself sleep. His wounds would at least begin to heal, and he could begin to worry about staying in hiding later. He let his body shut down, entering a night of deep sleep, and escaping the pain that his body was experiencing.

BF and GF had managed to get to GF's home, both of them still shaken up by their run-in with Tabi. BF was still worried about a new threat to his life in the form of Daddy Dearest. He didn't want to deal with what he would be doing to him when he saw his daughter injured. Not only that, but he might also have to deal with her mother as well. That was something he REALLY didn't want to deal with. Sure, both of their songs were easy so far, but he hadn't seen their full power yet. He didn't want to die.
As they stood outside, BF managed to build his courage back up, being more concerned for the well-being of his girlfriend than the safety of his own soul, and he walked into the house with her.
Her father was sitting in his chair, waiting for them to return. They were late coming back, after all, and he fully planned to take advantage of this to have an excuse to make BF's life miserable. When he turned towards them, ready to begin scolding them, he froze from seeing their conditions. Both of them had ripped clothing and burns on them, and they seemed rather shaken up.
"What is this?" he asked, a mixture of emotions swirling inside of him. Lots of fury, a touch of fear, and most of all, worry.
GF looked down, playing with her fingers a bit before answering.
"Um...So, do you remember the last boyfriend I had, Daddy? Tabi?"
Daddy Dearest nodded, remembering the fool that they managed to take advantage of clearly. The reason behind GF's success.
"Of course, sweetheart, how could I not remember the person that helped my little girl become so famous? But what about him has anything to do with this?"
BF chuckled nervously as he rubbed the back of his head. The older demon turned to him with a raised eyebrow, waiting for an explanation.
"It turns out that he's actually really hard to beat. I barely defeated him after he blew up the restaurant."
