Character POV: Julie
What is a dream? What is a wish? If I ever came to my senses again, I'd think they were both desires.
My name is Julie, always has.
The thought of reminding myself who I am is such a simple task yet so hard to pull off.
The state I'm in is preventing me from trying to persist.
I can't hear my own voice. I can't listen to my thoughts. Everything is flowing out of me just like a waterfall at the end of a river. I can only see words written out through my line of sight.
However, they were never said.

"Christ what time is it.... Oh... six o'clock."
Every morning starts once you wake up. However, my case is when I decide to stand. It was a school day, so I had no choice but to get up. I put my feet onto the floor and pushed myself off the bed. With the energy I had stored, I slid my feet towards the door and exited the room.
Mom had already prepared me some scrambled eggs with a bit of bread and bacon. We just moved in a few days ago so stuff's not in place yet. Boxes and plastic all over the floor. It's disrupting my mental workflow. I can just smell the scent of cardboard no matter where I go inside this house. By the time I finished the bread, mom warned me about the time.
"Hey sweetie, the time's 6:12.", She seemed worried, not that she needed to be.
"Yeah and?"
"Don't tell me you haven't read the school's schedule."
"Why do I need to? School opens at 7:30, yeah?"
" Honey, the school closes it's gates at 7:30."
"I'll be fine mom, just you watch. I'll get there early at 7."
"Okay, I'll take your optimistic thoughts into consideration."
My mother knows I can take care of myself, so she doesn't interfere with my trips that much. Not that I even leave the house that often, though I really wished she'd care a little more.
"Okay mom! I'll be off. See you later."
"Sure hun, good luck!", Said my mom as I walked right out of the door to get on my way to school. I didn't want to rush because the school was pretty cheap, and I don't think going to a gloomy excuse for a fun academic centre is important enough for me to even attend on time. Stubborn teachers, mean classmates, stupid bullies, It's always the same. With that in mind, I lived on Krulinian street, I consider myself lucky for the long distance I have to walk just to get there, though it is pretty tiring, it's better than having other kids know where you live. Besides, we'll be moving after I finish my studies so it's not a big deal, I just have to survive a school year and it'll all be over.
Cars drove by as I struggled to keep up a steady pace to pull myself together for when classes started. I wouldn't want to leave everyone hanging with a boring start right? Ugh... What am I talking about? Not like I'll be able to impress them anyways. Although the walk from home to school is quite a trip, it isn't enough to satisfy my needs for avoiding it.
I stood right in front of the open gate, it wasn't all that bad, not yet anyways. Kids shouting, running, blabbering about what they saw for new fashionable clothes. You can tell the students apart and start classifying them between the nerd and geek category. I set my foot in the borders of the gate, I could feel my sins crawling up my back. The strong sense of unfamiliar gazes was unbearable, it would've possibly killed me before I even reached the front door.
The sound of footsteps and lockers being closed have pretty much destroyed my ears already, so I'm glad I don't have to hear the teachers' ongoing lessons any longer. In the same way as the others, I walked up to my locker and put my things inside then set my code. I made sure no one saw in case some idiot would try to barge into my personal belongings. Of Course you'd do that, I mean, you would like to keep it secure. That is, If you're hiding something. Eh, better head to class before I get social.
