(In the cafeteria)

Bose: I'm telling you Ms,Connors class is the worst class to ever exist

Mika: I love her class

Bose: because you've never gotten below a 99 in her class

*Miles and Chapa walk up to them*

Chapa: or any other class

Mika: not my fault you guys don't pay attention to her

Miles: anyways guess what me and Chapa have three classes together

Mika: really

Chapa: yep

Bose: so now I'm the only friend that doesn't have any classes with anyone they know

Mika: you've always been that friend

Chapa: she's right

Bose: I'm out

Mika: your not actually gonna leave but does anyone wanna have a sleepover at my house

Chapa: it's been a while so sure

Bose: its been a week

Chapa: yea like I said a while

Bose: okay but I have nothing else to do so I'll go

Chapa: you sure your stepdad is gonna let you leave the house

Bose: yea I'm sure

Chapa: I'll believe it when I see it

Mika: anyways Miles you have to be there so you can get to know them better

Mika: great-
*the bell rings*

Chapa: I hate that noise but I'll see you guys later

Mika: bye Miles what's your next class

*later that day*
(In Mikas room)

Mika: okay Miles do you have everything

Miles: I have candy and popcorn

Mika: great I'll order us pizza later

*someone knocks on her room door*

Mika: that's probably Chapa and Bose it's already open

Chapa: hey Mika

Mika: hey Chapa

Bose: Chapa brought a bunch of horror movies for no reason

Mika: we're only watching one

Chapa: I'll take it

Miles: this better be a good sleepover

Chapa: all of Mikas sleepover are good-

*the lights go out*

Bose: what just happened

Mika: I think the power went out

Chapa: well what are we supposed to do none of us know how to work that electrical panel thingy

Miles: I guess we're just gonna have to have this sleepover in the dark

Bose: no I'm going home

*Mika checks her phone*

Mika: good luck because the news said this happened to all of Swellview meaning that all the street lights are off

Bose: what does that mean

Miles: do you-

Chapa: don't say anything you'll get used to it

Bose: no one has answered my question yet

Mika: it means that it's very dark outside

Miles: like I said we're gonna have to have this sleepover in the dark

Chapa: no we're not Mika are there like flashlights or candles anywhere

Mika: I think there's some downstairs

Chapa: I'll go get them

Miles: I'll go with you

*they start walking downstairs*

Chapa: you didn't seem too fazed about the fact that the lights went out

Miles: I was sent across the country nothings scarier than that

Chapa: I almost feel bad for you

Miles: it's wasn't all bad I manage to get a girlfriend

Chapa: right does she also live in Swellview maybe I can meet her and become her friend

Miles: I'll text her tonight to ask her but if she does she can meet you and maybe we'll be able to go one a double date

Chapa: awesome

Miles: yea- what did we start walking for

Chapa: I don't know I think it had something to do with lights

Miles: ohh yea

Chapa: when you have someone to talk to the world gets better

Miles: that's something that we'll always agree on

Chapa: we just met yesterday but I can tell that we're gonna be best friends
