"Doctor?" The woman asks, confused.
"Doctor ... er, Jack Halliday, private investigator." The Doctor tries to cover up.
"Indiscretion assured." Celestia says, looking at him pointedly.
"I never advertise the title." The Doctor says, ignoring the Time Lady.
"I can't believe you just ignored me." Celestia tells him telepathically.
"Of course I didn't." The Doctor denies instantly. "I'm curious to see what happens that's all." The Doctor tells telepathically, then he returns to his normal voice. "People badger you to look at their tonsils. Can I help?" The Doctor asks.
"With my tonsils?" The woman asks.
"No, I imagine you want to hire me." The Doctor says.
"You came recommended. Shall we go up?" The woman asks.
"Why not?" The Doctor says. He tries to open the door but he can't because the keys are with Charley. "Er - Charley, do you have, er ... my keys?" He asks her.
"What? Oh, er, yes." Charley says, trying the lock to open it.
"My associates Miss Wilson and Miss Pollard." He introduces. "You are?"
"My name is Glory Bee. I need your help, Mr Halliday, desperately." Glory says.
"I see. Well, erm, go on up, Miss Bee. It - it's the, er, the second floor." The Doctor says. Glory takes the stairs.
"Doctor, what do you think you're doing?" Celestia questions once Glory is out of earshot.
"You know, I'm not at all sure. Let's see what happens, eh?" The Doctor encourages.
"Okay fine." Celestia concedes, making The Doctor kiss her on the cheek.
"Sit down, Miss Bee." The Doctor says once they enter the office. "Charley, get the lady a chair."
"Thank you. I prefer to stand." Glory says.
"Well, you don't mind if I?" The Doctor asks, sitting down.
"That's a dead man's desk you've got your feet on, Doctor." Charley says, being as disturbed as the Time Lady is.
"So Miss Bee, what's the rumpus? You cracking foxy with me or is you in trouble with the Bricks? They gonna drag you down to the hole because some guy gets shot through the pump with a heater?" The Doctor asks.
"Are you all right?" Charley asks.
"Local patter, Charley, it always helps break the ice. As it happens, it's a particular skill of mine." The Doctor says.
"Are you sure about that?" Celestia looks at him pointedly.
"Miss Wilson, is Mr Halliday unwell?" Glory asks to the Time Lady.
"No, no, erm, he just gets like that sometimes. I believe he was trying to say, how can we help you?" Celestia tries to cover up.
"It's my Uncle, Mr Halliday." Glory begins to explain. "He was here in the city for some kind of conference. We'd arranged to meet, but he didn't show."
"Did you check his hotel?" The Doctor asks.
"First place I went. They had no record of him." Glory says.
"Are you sure it was the right one?" Charley questions.
"Perfectly - you see, I'd seen him there the afternoon before." Glory tells.
"In his room?" Celestia asks.
"No, the lobby." Glory says.
"What did you do next?" The Doctor questions.
