No one's P.O.V
Kinoshita was not in the best place, he honestly felt like he should just leave and stop being a burden towards everyone.
For example his parents didn't even care fore him since he was younger.
*Flashbacks*
"Mommy mommy" said the little boy jumping up and down cutely while his mother only groaned. "What do you want, don't you see I'm busy" said the women. The tone she used only caused the little boy to cry but instead of helping him she just went back to watching her show but in the room this time since she couldn't hear in the living room.
*Next Day*
"Mommy Mommy guess what" asked the little boy to the female. "DO YOU EVER SHUT UP, YOU BRAT" screamed the women. The little boy was about to cry but as soon as the women saw the tears willing up in her son's eyes she slapped him as hard as she can. That caused the little boy to fall down and cry even harder.
After that accident the little kid was scared of his mother so he never again asked her anything nor went near her.
Later on she regreted her choice but never did something to fix it.
"Dadda" said the little boy as he ran to his father when he saw him. As soon as the boy cling onto his fathers leg the older just kicked him off which caused the little one to cry.
His friends didn't even gave his any attention always focused on something else.
Kageyama on the other hand was just trying to make his grandpa's wish true which was for him to go to nationals.
*Flashback*
The ten year old boy ran to the hospital room that the nice lady told him his grandpa was in. Once he reached the room he quickly open the door and hugged his grandpa.
"Hey Tobio"
"Grandpa don't talk, you need to rest"
"Oh baby listen to me okay"
"yes grandpa"
"Remember this okay, make it to nationals"
"Yes grandpa I promise no I would win it three times if that what you want if that's what you need to live don't worry I would practice every second"
"Silly boy I can live because of that but always remember to keep this promise and Tobio I love you"
"I love you too gramps"
The elder smile as he closed his eyes which caused the little boy to cry. He lost everything he had left except the necklace and the promise.
His parents left him since he was little with his grandpa and his sister left him for her boyfriend.
*Present*
When the two boys were paired up for a practice they connected right away, they felt lighter.
The two boys hanged out after that day while the older was talking while sitting on a bench the younger was practicing volleyball and simply listening to him occasionally answering back.
The younger was the one that realized his feeling first but he wasn't about to confess to the older so he waited until the older will.
Which didn't take as long s he thought since the other confess when he was a second year and the other a third year.
