Chapter 1

Living in a world where you can read peoples minds can be crazy. But that's my life.

I'm avery, I don't really know where to start so how about I tell you a little about me.

I was born October 27, 2027, I'm 16 a junior in high school and I can hear peoples thoughts. But other and that weird thing i'm pretty normal.

I like to read, draw, paint, write and I think that's it. Oh also I can skate (skateboard) but that's really it.

The only people that know about the hearing peoples thoughts thing are my parents. When I told them about it they thought I was joking at first but I proved it to them and well they thought it was weird and scary but they excepted me.

It was hard to get used to. I never really talked about it with my parents cause I thought it was weird.

Life is hard I know you might think it's not but it is. Like sometimes it'll just activate out of normal and i'll find out things I don't want to. Sometimes the things I find out hurt me but I can't tell anyone cause they'll think i'm crazy and most people already think i'm weird so.

I hate reading peoples minds sometimes I don't even mean to and when i do that that's when I find out the worst things.
It's really hard on me cause when I find something out that I shouldn't know I can't confront them cause then they'll wonder how I know and think i'm crazy so I just have to put up with it.

A lot of people want to be able to hear peoples thoughts or read peoples minds but it's not worth it, trust me I know. anyways just wanted to let you know but that's how my life is.

I have no one to talk about this with cause no one would get it and I don't talk to my parents cause I mean come on they are my parents. so I got this journal I don't want to call it a diary so ima just call it a journal. anyways ima just talk to this from now on.

God i'm writing on here like it'll answer me back lol.

Anyways my parents are calling me for dinner now so talk later.
