Chappy 49

We nodded in approval and left the room as Madam told us. I could see Mallika was really very upset. She was quiet for some time and then said 

Mallika- Sumedh can we go to that peaceful place 

Sumedh- Yes Mikku 

She held my hand and we went towards the main road. We sat in the rickshaw and left for the place. I called Shruti and informed them about our going. She said she will be waiting for us. We have to enjoy our day tonight as it's the last day here as of now as the vacations are starting from tomorrow and we are leaving for our homes. 

We reached there and sat under the tree. Staring at the other tree as if asking the tree many questions. 

POV End's 

Mallika- Sumedh so many things happened between these 6 months 

Sumedh- Yes these were the worst months of my life 

Mallika- Sumedh u know all this is done by Amar and his group 

Sumedh- What Seriously! 

Mallika- Yeah I heard them talk. 

Sumedh- Oh Shit! 

Mallika- Sumedh ek baat bolu 

Sumedh- Haan bolo 

Mallika- Aaj iss saal ka last day hai toh soch rahi hun ki kuch mast ho jaye waise bhi bahut din hue kuch kiya nhi (she said rubbing her hands) 

Sumedh- Waise Kuch nhi Karna hai Abhi ke liye bas group mai jo ho Raha hai woh rokna hai 

Mallika- Par 

Sumedh- Mikku...

Mallika- Ohk! 

They got down and started walking to their hostel. She was holding his hand damn tightly showing her trust in him. He looked at her and smiled and she returned with the same. 

They reached home after some time. It was really dark by the time they reached. Sumedh opened the door with the key he had. They entered the room and the scene there was terrible. Nishi, Hritik, Sam were crying badly. Abhi and Basant were trying to console Hritik. Shruti and Monika were consoling Sam and Nishi. Sumedh walked to them while Mallika walked to the kitchen to get some water for them as well as her. 

Sumedh- Guys just chill we will work hard together and will score the best together. 

Mallika came out and gave Sumedh a glass of water. She passed one to Nishi, one to Sam, and the last one to Hritik. 

Hritik- Sorry guys for what we did to u 

Mallika- No need of sorry bro just calm down first.

Basant- Are kab se kehe raha hun shant ho jao

They stooped crying hearing him scolding. 

Monika- Congrats Basant sun li teri baat 

Basant- Yup! 

Abhi- Kya dau ap bhi kabhi shuru ho jate ho. 

Basant smiled sheepishly. 

Sumedh- Guys chill we will manage waise bhi Kam na aaye toh ye do toppers ka kya faida 

He said patting Mallika and Basant's back. They looked at him and then at others

Mallika- Chalo Chalo fresh ho jao kal se vacations hai aaj enjoy kar lete hai 

Nishi- Sorry yaar 

Shruti- Dosti mai no sorry no thank you. 

All went to get ready but our Sumellika was already dressed up and so decided to wait till they come. At the same time, Mallika got up and started walking 

Sumedh- Kaha ja rahi hai 

Mallika- Tum aao ge 

Sumedh- Par Kaha 

Mallika- Eyse hi bahar 

Sumedh- Oh toh Chalo 

They walked out hand in hand. Chatting and laughing like idiots 

(On the Other hand) 

Shruti- Kuch toh gadbad hai Abhi 

Abhi- Aye dialogue mat mar ye soch yeh ho kya Raha hai 

Shruti- Kahi yeh 

Abhi- Kya tu bhi wahi soch rahi hai jo mai soch raha hun. 

Shruti- Haan 

All came out and found Sumellika talking to each other. Sumedh was leaning at the wall with his one leg folded while Mallika standing in the front laughing clapping her hand. Their gaze turned towards their group and so they walked to them. 

They walked out of the hostel with a sweet smile on their lips, making someone think about how this happened.
