Karylle's POV 

As I heard him mention my boyfriend's name I had to go straight back to my condo right away. I checked my phone and saw that Yael's been trying to contact me since last night. I didn't even leave him a message. 

Oh no.. This can't be. Sana wag naman..

I ran all the way to the elevator and wished na sana nasa labas na ako ng room ko, but it was just too slow. I can feel my heartbeat racing. I am freaking out right now. As I got sa floor ko, mabilis akong naglakad. I got my key and opened the door.

Lagot.

As I stepped in sa unit ko, I saw Yael sa couch ko. Beside him were flowers and chocolates. Was he supposed to surprise me?

"Surprise. Happy valentine's day missy." 

I went closer to him and smiled. I was about to hug him until he stepped back.

"Where were you last night?"

"Yael, I just.."

"Tell me!"

"I went out. Kasama sina Billy."

"And?" I took a deep breath and decided to tell the truth.

"Vice.."

"Ha.." he smirked. "Kaya pala. I guess those gifts are from him. Don't worry, pinatapon ko na sa baba. Masyado na kasing napapabida yung best friend mo.."  

I couldn't help it. Sinampal ko na siya. Ang boyfriend ko. He couldn't even believe it. Tears were forming on my eyes, but no. I am not gonna cry. This is just too much. 

"Before I leave, i'm giving you one last chance Karylle. Ako ba? O yang bakla mong best friend ang pipiliin mo?"

I remained still. As he left my place right away. At dito na nagsimula ang pag-iyak ko.

How can he be so mean to me? Why can't he understand that Vice is JUST my best friend? And to think that he's gay. 

I love Vice. But I love Yael more.

Sunday morning, at maaga namang nagising si Vice. He's feeling good yet something inside is telling him na may problema. 

"Karylle..." 

She was the first person na naisip niya sa paggising niya. He decided to prep up so he could visit Karylle. Kakatapos niya lang maligo at naisipan agad niyang itext si K. Una ay kinakabahan siya dahil iba ang kutob niya. Pero nang maisend ang mensahe niya ay di rin nagtagal ay nakareply agad ito.

"Good morning too. Sorry. I'm at Mama's house kasi. I'll see you at school nalang. Usap tayo bukas after class. Same place. Take care."
