"Whoa! Take it easy!" you shout, grabbing him for extra support. "Don't be moving around so fast..." (E/c) eyes glance across the nearby table before snatching the two bottles of thirium you purposely kept out. "Here," you start, pushing it towards his chest, "you need to drink both bottles because of the amount of blood you lost."
Without question, he grabs the first one and chugs it. You can see his Adam's apple slowly bobbing up and down, and before you know it he's already downing the second bottle. A fist comes up, the back of his hand wiping away the little bit of blue at the corners of his mouth.
"That doesn't taste nearly as good as your kiss..." he nonchalantly states.
You blush before taking the container from him, setting it back in the previous location. "You flirt."
Connor looks around the room, butt still resting against the table.
"What's wrong?"
"Huh? Oh, nothing. I was just wondering where Hank went off to."
"He's upstairs resting. I told him I'd notify him when you woke up. Actually, I can do that now..."
A hand quickly reaches out, grasping your wrist to halt your progression. "No!" He clears his throat. "I mean... He needs his rest. I'll wake him in the morning."
You frown slightly. "Are you sure? He'll be relieved to know that you're feeling better."
He nods. "Yes... and -" Connor grabs you by the waist, pulling you flush against his form. "- I was thinking we could spend some time together."
"I'd like that." A large yawn occurs, and you try to shake your head to get rid of it. "We can talk, maybe cuddle up on the couch. Unless Hank took it."
There's a pause, and you yawn again.
"You look tired." Connor brushes some hair out of your face then pecks you on the forehead. "I think you should get some rest."
"Hmm," you hum. "Lay with me?"
"Of course."
Both of you begin quietly trekking up the stairs, and it's making you feel giddy like a teenager sneaking a lover into their room. With the most recent events leaving Connor energy starved, you decide to lead the way, hand in hand. Upon entering the living quarters, you see that the lights are on but Hank is no where to be seen.
"He's probably sleeping in the guestroom." You let go of Connor then make your way towards the entertainment stand.
"What are you doing?" he questions. "We should get you to bed..."
Upon sliding a movie into the player, you laugh. "Don't be a worry wart. I'll be fine, and you need the rest too... I was just thinking that this would be better."
"How so?" His head cocks slightly, curiosity and slight confusion evident.
You walk back to the couch, snatching up the remote and a nearby blanket before switching the lights off. "I know you don't have to sleep, and I feel like it would be pointless to be in rest mode if you don't need to be. Just being lazy will be good enough to allow that thirium to disperse properly throughout your body."
Connor stands there watching everything you do until you motion him to the couch.
"Doing it this way will give you some sort of entertainment while I sleep, and we can still cuddle," you exclaim with joy.
He takes a seat in one corner, a leg outstretched across the cushions and the other flat on the ground. You see that Connor's shoes are still on, so you volunteer to take them off for him since he's already seated.
"You don't have to do that. I can -"
"It's okay," you smile. "I just want you to be comfy."
After slipping his dress shoes onto the floor, you decide to cozy on up to the one and only in your life. You sit in between his legs, back against his naked chest and legs extended. He steals the blanket from you and takes the lead in covering a majority of you both. The September nights have been chilly the last few weeks, and he wants to ensure that you can rest to the best of your capability.
The play button is pushed upon the remote, and Connor removes it from your grasp to set aside. Strong arms wrap around your torso, holding you in a warm hug filled with happiness. You can feel his chest subtly rising and falling with artificial breathing, his chin gently resting upon the top of your head, and the pure contentment that radiates from the both of you.
For the first few minutes there's just comfortable silence shared between the two of you, the movie quietly playing in the background. Eyelids begin to flutter as you try to stay awake, and your head becomes limp against his collarbone. Although you're exhausted, you want to stay up with Connor. To talk, to cuddle, to share stories and exchange emotions.
"He's so soft and comfortable... Caring... Lovable... Perfect..."
Connor shifts his head, lips now hovering near your ear. He begins whispering to you about how he feels. "I'm glad you confessed your feelings to me... I feel the same, but I was too scared, too worried that you would reject me." His hand slowly combs through your hair, gently massaging your scalp to soothe you further. "I became too blind to all of the signs that showed how you felt for me. Because of that, I made the assumption that someone like me, an android like me, could never give you what you deserve in life." Soft lips kiss you gently upon the temple, staying there for a few seconds before resuming his previous movements. "I don't deserve someone as precious as you..."
The early morning slowly passes, and Connor continues to whisper sweet nothings into your ear long after you fall asleep. Once the movie ends and all is shut down, he embraces you into a loving hold. He scans you, ensuring that you're okay and sleeping well. A smile forms when he stares down at your sleeping expression before he carefully lays his head back to commence into rest mode.

Light shines in through the blinds of the kitchen, leaking an orange hue onto everything it touches. Birds sing and chirp outside, and the subtle sound of cars driving by lets everyone know that the day is about to start.
Everything feels peaceful for once. There's no clients in need of repairing, no homicides that the Lieutenant and detective need to rush off to, and no one to disturb the lovebirds from their snuggling slumber.
Floorboards creak when the shuffling of footsteps occur from down the hall. The older man comes walking out, sleepily rubbing his eyes with the back of one hand. When he awoke, as tired as he was, he immediately wanted to check in on Connor's condition. You never woke him, and that was nothing but concerning. Hank just tries to convince himself that you let him sleep in, that his partner in crime is perfectly fine.
The main bedroom was empty, so he thought he'd check the kitchen then the clinic. "(Y/n)?" Hank whispers, voice cracking from the dryness of his throat.
Approaching the living room, his blue-gray eyes begin squinting at something protruding from the top of the couch. He circles around to the left side with curiosity, entering the kitchen portion to gain a better view.
A large smile appears, eyes morphing with enthusiastic joy. "Finally made a move, huh?"
Eyes wander over your forms as he takes in the heartwarming sight. You both lay in the same position you had started in, but you've turned onto your side to better cuddle into his bare chest. His right arm is wrapped around the middle of your torso, hand resting at the base of your neck and on your collarbone. The other arm is bent just enough to allow his fingers to casually rest upon your hip. Both of you look so peaceful while you rest. Even Connor has a small, frozen smile upon his face, as he holds his other half that he didn't realize was missing.
If he learned anything from this stressful event, it's that he's glad that he travelled down an unexpected path. Had anything else happened then he wouldn't have had the chance to be with you, to make his life better or to be able to call you his.
"About time, Connor."
