Liena (Pronounced: Le-en-a)

The Weirwood tree at Winterfell was a place for prayer and repentence but for Liena it was a place for escape. It was quiet there, she could read in peace without the disruption of clattering swords in the courtyard. Sansa and Arya's bickering and the constant crying of Rickon was replaced by the whispers of the wind. She would often sit there for hours reading or even writing. She loved to write, she wrote of heroines saving knights and tales of tragic twisted love. The Weirwood tree was where she felt most at home, even if it was rather dark and gloomy down there. Usually she would go alone but since they had found the Direwolves, Liena couldn't bear to be separated from Willow. Her fur was an ashen brown, her eyes a bright ivy green and she had the most loving tempremant, she never not wanted a hug. It was nice to feel somewhat loved, her family loved her of course but as the oldest sibling once the younger children came she almost felt shelved away. Disregarded slightly, I guess that's another reason she liked the Weirwood tree, it made her feel safe and under it's watchful eyes she felt protected.

Now that the King and Queen were on their way to Winterfell, Liena had asked to be pardoned from the welcoming party which to her astonishment she was allowed to. Deep down she was hurt slightly by the lack of resistance shown to her request. As much as she did not want to be there, it pained her to think they didn't want her there. She did have quite the temper and was inclined to say whatever entered her head, maybe that was why they preferred her away. Last time an honoured high status guest had visited she had made his son cry and the lords and ladys rather mad. But still she wanted to be wanted, even if she didn't want to attend what she was wanted for.

The day the royals were said to arrive Liena spent the entire day calming her erratic sister Sansa down who had numerous meltdowns throughout the morning. The Stark girl wanted her sister and no one else to do her hair. She said that Liena did it best and she would only have her, so she stayed with her for the whole day. She helped Sansa pick her dress and helped her with her makeup, whilst constantly pep talking the girl. Then she decided to help Arya with her outfit, the youngest Stark girl resisted of course, fighting Liena when the brush moved within the vincinty of her head. The girls were laughing and giggling by the end of it and as the time got closer they calmed in their older sisters presence.

"You will both do splendid." Liena smiled kissing them both on the head before heading away from the castle. They hugged her before she left and then the younger sisters proceeded onwards with their seemingly nonstop bickering.

Liena was enthralled in her favourite book as she reached the gates, her head was with Dragons and princesses when the horrid panicked noise of a horse startled her. She looked up to see a stallion heading straight for her, the large man riding it swung his horse round but not before Liena was knocked headfirst into the mud. Her book toppled onto the ground and was immediately submerged into a puddle. The royal entourage followed him but she was still on the floor, trying to reach her book. She heard the wheels of the carriage but she just couldn't move, her book was destroyed, the pages open the tragic stories smudged and torn. It was her first book, it belonged to Lyanna her fathers sister. It was hers and she had ruined it, the young Stark girl interpreted it as a bad omen sent from the Gods, sent from Lyanna.

"Why can't I move." Her inner voice panicked "Move Liena! Move"

But someone moved her instead, she was being carried. Her head was bleeding, she hadn't realised that. She wanted to go to the Godswood, she wanted to go to the crypts and talk to her auntie. For the first time in a while she was afraid.

"My book." She whispered.

Her eyes found the man carrying her, he wasn't a pretty knight with long flowing hair and flawless skin. His face was terribly burnt and scarred on one side, it was red as though it was sore. It didn't repulse her as she thought it would when she first saw him on the horse, it scared her but she wasn't afraid of him. More so afraid for him, she couldn't explain it. She believed it to be delusion. His hair was brown but thin, his eyes a kind hazel however they were not happy. No. They were full of misery. If there ever was a man that could embody both bruality and sheer torture at the same time, Liena was sure she had found him.

"Why are you sad?" Was all that escaped her lips before she closed her eyes falling unconscious.

The man looked down at her, his face perplexed.

"I hate fucking notherners" He muttered under his breath as he held her.

"Why am I sad?" He mocked "Stupid fucking girl."

"Hound, what little gutter rat have you caught?" Joffery grinned. "Let me see."

"She's a Stark Girl, My lord." The hound replied flatly , bending to pick up the book Liena had almost killed herself trying to reach. He placed it in his horses satchel and carried her to the castle. "She looks like the Starks." He studied her face, he had seen Eddard before and she looked just like him.

"I don't care if shes a Stark. I demand to see what pest you have caught." Joff commanded.

As he spoke, Ned Stark and his family approached to meet them. When he saw his daughter he ran toward the Hound, seizing Joffrey's opportunity to poke at the unconscious girl. The prince was left feeling disappointed.

"Thank you." Ned said his voice slightly panicked as he instructed Jon to take her to the Maester.

The hound grunted in response before gently handing her to the bastard.

"Good man Clegane." The King nodded "Ned go to your daughter see to it that she is well."

Eddard faltered, he so desperately wanted to check on Liena but the King awaited.

"My wife Lady Catelyn will welcome you your grace, I thank you for your leave."

Robert nodded a cheerful grin on his face. "Lets proceed."

The Hound still had Liena's book, but he didn't want to surrender it just yet. He wanted to know why she so desperately wanted it back. A girl almost killing herself over a book, it was comical to him.
