It was almost three days until the dance and I wasn't ready. In fact I don't think I'll be able to go since I don't have a date nor a dress. I really don't care . I'll probably be hanging by the wall all night and stuffing my face. At least my sister was the popular and pretty one. She already had a date and a dress. How I envy to be her. She always did get the better things growing up. Maybe it's because of our bipolar mom. While my sister always got expensive gifts, I always got my ass beat. My sister always stood beside me tho and I always loved her even though she is mom's favorite obviously.
But anyway, it was a regular Wednesday morning and I was so not ready to go to school. I wasn't going to school today I had enough of being seen as an outcast. I knew the risk I was taking would for sure get my ass beat but I'm pretty used to it by now. So I got dressed in my usual hoodie (I didn't have a shirt on underneath ), my converse sneakers , my hair in a messy ponytail, and a pair of ripped blue jeans. Luckily, my mom was still asleep and my sis had already left for school with her boyfriend who was a jock. I took my chances escaping out the window because I knew as soon as I made a run for the door mom would be waiting to tag me. I had grabbed my backpack and my phone and jumped out the window. I went to my usual spot which was the arcade beside the dumpsters. I started walking to Jimmy's (the arcade). As I am walking to Jimmy's I see Michael and Tatiana walking to school and holding hands. Ugh. I just want to throw up right now. I kept walking while not trying to lose my shit.
I really wanted to take one look at Michael but I didn't want to come off as a creep. But I couldn't help he was fine as hell. Maybe one quick glance won't hurt. As soon as I looked over at Michael I knew it was a mistake. He had some sort of attraction that drew me to him. Michael eventually had saw me and I looked away quickly and kept walking. As I'm walking I hear Michael calling my name and walking beside me. "What's up, Gigi?" I said nothing. "Giving me the cold shoulder huh?" I shook my head. "Are you going to school?" I replied in a annoyed tone, "Why?" "I just asked ." Then I said, "Well if you must know, I'm ditching school today." He just smirked and said, "Oh really? Where are you going?" I replied, "....This arcade called Jimmy's." His eyes got really big. "Oh really I love going there as a matter of fact I'm going there right now with Ta-." I interrupted him and said, "Look, I don't really have that long until lunch break so can I please go now?" He just stepped back and said, "Okay have a good time ditching class. I'll see you in third period." Then he left and went back to that twig, Tatiana. I can't believe I just blew my biggest crush off . But whatever I just want to get this day over with.
