The Twins of Change (uploading chapter by chapter)

Chapter 1 Dexter

"Commander, we have to fall back on the West flank. There are too many of them. We need help. Where the hell is Dex?" 

"Don't worry Lieutenant. He will come, he always does."

Dexter or Dex as he was know to most was in pain.  

"Squad sound off " he mum led though his mic.  

"Number 1 here" 

"Number 2 here" 

"Number 3 here" 

"Number 4 here" 

"Good that's ever body anybody know what the hell that was." 

"I don't know sir some kind of mine aperantly" replied Dex's second in command 

"OK guys we need to move quickly and take out that command station the rest of the army is counting on us" 

A choirs of "Yes sir"s came over the com chanel.  

Dexter peaked over the box he had been hideing behind when the explosion went off. He winched as he picked himself up off the ground and grabbed his gun off the ground next to him. He looked around for the robots that made up the main fighting forces of the hated government army. The cost seemed to be clear so Dex began slowly moving forwards twords his main target a giant eye sore of a building that controlled all the governments weapons in the region. He say the other members in his squad moving quietly across the giant felid leading up to the control center.  

"Guys plant the charges and go I'll detonate once we reach a safe distance." 

"Understood sir" 

He watched as his squad ran in and began placing the explosive charges. 

Then a slight movement caught his eye. A squad of government troops were moving in to attack his squad. 

"Heads up boys a full squad of tin cans are on there way I'll pick off as many as I can." 

With out waiting for an answer Dex unstraped his long ranged rifle from his back and braced it against the box he had formaly been hiding under. He took a quick looked down his scope and fired his first shot dropping the lead tin can. He calmly reloaded and dropped another one. 

"Guys how long till you are done." he said into his mic. 

"Just planeted the last charge on are way to your position now" 

Dex once again fired a shot and took another tin can. His squad continued to jog twords Dex the two guys in the back jogging backwards to shot at the tin cans.  

"Were clean of the blast zone boys I'm going to detonate" 

Dex reached over to his left wrist where he had installed the remote detanator into his armour. He pressed the red button and watched as the building began to collapse. The as the tin cans chasing his squad stopped and fell to the ground.

"Commander the robots have stopped working Dex came through sir." 

"I knew he would luetint start scavenging for weapons and gather up the troops."
