Busy mumbling to himself about their certain future, he didn't notice Jin-Woo dragging him by his shirt heading towards a coffee stand.

From afar, Mister Kim began sniggering before boldly speaking up after making sure Jin-Woo was well out of earshot.

"So, Jin-Woo showed up. Then it's going to be okay today, too."

Snapping out of his thoughts, (M/N) glanced at Mister Kim before tiredly collapsing his body on a bench.

Insulting Jin-Woo is the same as insulting (M/N).

In the past, he'd usually resort to a method that expresses his displeasure, but as time passed, his actions only led to having the opposite effect. So, instead, he restrained himself and stuck to his beliefs.

He concentrated on his made-up theory of another parallel universe existing. In that time zone, no one is who they think they are but made up of the opposite essence. The new life force becomes a carbonated copy of their opposite. It leads to the making of a fake.

So, in the world they live in, there are two types of individuals, the original and the fake.

Apparently, (M/N)'s copy is shown to others but hides from him. Anything negative expressed towards him is mistakenly aimed at the wrong person. Therefore, it's a futile attempt to stir anything in him.

During the process, (M/N) learned to differentiate between the two. The fake sins in secret, the real make their sins known.

He remembers the last time he expressed his feelings, being disgust. The thought that crossed his mind that time more or less predicts his actions leading up to it.

'What happens in the dungeon stays in there. Right, Mei? Fucking whore's probably living off a skeleton's dick deep in the ground.'

Blinking slightly out of his thoughts as he heard someone call his name, (M/N) yawned, cursing his bad habit of feeling sleepy after an internal battle with himself.

Meanwhile, Jin-Woo couldn't help but want the ground to swallow him whole, hiding away from all his worries.

'I can hear everything, you geezers.'

Jin-Woo bitterly thought as he couldn't help but shrink slightly under their gossips.

"(M/N), can you go give our identification cards in the front so they can check us in for the raid?"

Grumbling a small sure, (M/N) sat up as he made his way to the counter, rubbing his drowsiness away.

'Ah, damn it. I forgot to take my meds again.'

"JIN-WOO!"

(M/N) hurriedly left his post, rushing over to Jin-Woo. Thankful for the girl he forgot the name of, to be close by to heal him. He made sure to give a slight nod of gratitude.

As the said girl ushered that he'll be fine, (M/N) couldn't help but sigh in relief before going over and cradling him in his arms.

"I told you to wait until I finished over there. You know that I'm supposed to be there to protect you. Why di-"

"I k-know. But, I couldn't help but want to do something. I'm just, just so weak that it's pitiful. I'm such a burden to everyone around me. I-I just wanted to make myself useful." *Sniff*

Jin-Woo couldn't help but whimper as he dug his face in (M/N)'s chest.

The supposed man couldn't help but want to protest against what he said and show him how much he'd done even if he doesn't realize it.
