Rachel nodded, "Yeah, that would do it".

"Christmas Eve he...he told me he was leaving. He loved me, but every time he looked at me he would be back there. Back at the club. He left Detroit, and I stopped taking my meds".

"That's why you're here? For meds?".

I nodded.

"Good, proud of you".

"Thanks," I took a second, "Ben began drinking a lot. He went out after getting upset with me, ended up getting our mom drunk. She had been doing well with her addictions till that point. He got her drunk, and she shot up and died because of it. Ben refuses to bring it up anymore after he had a bad breakdown".

Rachel took a deep breath, "Yeah, I'm really sorry dude".

I shrugged, "Nothing I can do. I just need to be the strong one for the family right now, because I still have the strength to do it".

"Good for you. You know where his office is, right?".

I nodded.

"Have fun" She smiled as she walked off.

I continued my way into the psych ward, then knocked on Dr Getty's office door.

"Come in".

I walked in.

Dr Getty smiled, "Tyler, what a surprise. Take a seat".

I sat down, "I need a prescription for my meds".

"What happened to your new one?".

"Long story. Boyfriend ditched after experiencing PTSD, and I stopped taking them. Then got mad at my sister and flushed them".

"How long have you been off of them?".

"A month".

Dr Getty took a second, "You've been okay?".

"I've been better" I smiled.

"Good, glad you came in before you got to a bad point. And good for you not getting suicidal over your boyfriend. I find a lot of my BPD patients do that".

I laughed a little.

Dr Getty started writing a prescription, "Take care of yourself, okay? Maybe we can make appointments too so we can talk more often".

I nodded, "That sounds good".

"How about next week? Monday morning at 10?".

I smiled.

"Okay," Dr Getty handed me the paper, "Have a good day Tyler".

I left his office and out of the ward. Celeste was waiting in the waiting room for me.

She smiled, "How did it go?".

"Good, lets go to the pharmacy".

"Perfect".

The two of us went to her car and went to go get my prescription.
