Murder In Big Ben

Dial Tone. " Yes this is I," Theoleus said as he picked up his top hat.

" There has been a murder in the clock tower known as Big Ben," The mysterious caller said.

" Do not worry I am on my way," Theoleus said as he put his rotary phone down.

Theoleus bursted out of his office and quickly ran down the stone stairs, he left the building and got into his black rolls-royce. Theoleus drove to Big Ben, it took him 35 minutes to get to the clock tower. He got out of his car and smelt musk for it was the dead of night, Theoleus when to the top of Big Ben and saw a old man stuck between the cogs. 

" I called as soon as I saw the body," a deep voiced man said.

" when did you get here?" Theoleus said.

The man checked his watch, " Around 11:25 P.M.," The man said.

" It is 12:07 now," Theoleus said.

Theoleus went closer up to the body, he saw a old man tied up in ropes and was squished between the cogs. The old man's blood dripped from the cogs, Theoleus looked around the crime scene and spotted a piece of paper that read ' From Time to Time a flag lowers and rises'. 

" Do you know of anyone else around here at the time of the murder," Theoleus said.

" No I got on the night shift at 11:25 P.M. but there is a window between 11:00 and 11:25 P.M.," The man said.

" The murder must have happened between the window," Theoleus said.

" I have to go back to my office, you report if anything else strange happens here," Theoleus said.

" Ok," The man said.

Theoleus drove back to his office and dusted the piece of paper for prints, there was no prints on the piece of paper. Theoleus now knew that the perpetrator used gloves during the murder, Theoleus inspected what was left of the frayed rope. Theoleus could find no clues what so ever while inspecting the rope, Theoleus read the piece of paper multiple times. Eventually it made sense, Prince Barron died yesterday. The flags would be lowered everywhere around London, Theoleus's instincts told him that the murderer would be at the House of Parliament. It was 4:37 A.M. right now and if Theoleus was lucky he could make it in time.

Theoleus got into his black rolls-royce and drove to the House of Parliament which took 35 minutes, by the time he got their it was around 5:15 A.M.. Theoleus got out of his car and already saw that the flags were lowered, Theoleus ran into the House of Parliament. He started looking everywhere for the murderer, Theoleus walked into the bathroom and saw a young man dead in one of the bathroom stalls. The man's arms were chopped of and it looked like he died from blood loss, on the ground there was a bloody saw and an open window at the end of the bathroom. Theoleus looked at the open window and noticed a piece of paper that read ' the flag has lowered but watch out cause the executioner's axe is something to fear'. On the back of the paper there was a set of numbers that read ' 6:00 A.M., Theoleus knew that the murder would happen at 6:00 A.M. but where.
