I walked Upstairs " Mom" I shouted
She was in her room packing up as we were about to leave the next day, she said " hey baby you finished packing"
I said" Yeah but I'm a bit nervous"
"You don't gotta be nervous I'm here for you no matter what, and I'm sure you'll make friends you're pretty friendly" she said
"Thanks mom" I said before walking back to my room
Going to a new school I was kinda nervous, that's all because I don't know what to expect for example are people gonna like me but I normally don't worry if people like me or not but in this case I am worried alot
I've always been the girl who everyone likes, the friendly girl, the girl that has nothing to worry about because her life is perfect but deep down inside it's not like that at all
Ok Let's put it like this my dad went for the milk and never came back and I also lost my brother when I was 15, it happened thru a drive by shooting my mom has never been the same since but she held up and still is the strong woman that she is and I try to be that too
"Maya!" I heard my mom calling so I went down stairs she said " someone's here to see you" stepping away from the door she revealed Dasilva
Dasilva is my bestfriend has been for years and she's always been a loyal friend but now I gotta leave her but I'm sure she'll visit so I gotta stay positive
I hugged her, I asked " what are you doing here" she replied " So I can't see my bestfriend before she leaves and goes God knows where" we both laughed and went up to my room
She asked" So are what are your thoughts about moving"
"Pretty nervous I don't what to expect"
She smiled and said " just remember you always got me here when you need someone to talk to or someone to help you beat a hoe"
I smirked at her and said" yeah yeah I know, it's just moving away from a place I lived so long just doesn't feel right"
" I can imagine just remember your doing this for you and your mom and you know how much she wants to move from this place and start a new life"
I nodded and said" well we can't just sit here let's watch a movie and order pizza" I smirked she nodded and smiled
This is a normal for me and D were not into the whole party girls thing were more of a Netflix and chill girls
I picked up my phone and ordered a large pepperoni pizza

Mya was about to leave as it was getting pretty late , We hugged tightly she also gave my mom a tight hug as my mom has been considered her second mom
She said before leaving " I'll miss you and I love you call me everyday"
With my emotional ass, tears started falling from my eyes as I said " I love you too and I will"
She pulled out of the drive way and I told mom goodnight and went to bed I had a long day ahead of me...
