Regulus: Huh? What's the problem with me entering this place? It should be fine to watch what happens there, right? So why are you obstructing my right of free movement? Don't you think that obstructing that right of mine is extremely disrespectful? Honestly, that idiot is starting to rub off on you in the worst possible way, if you ask me you should spend fifty times less time with him than you already do, actually just don't talk to him. He just ruins your charm.

While Regulus was ranting, Subaru quickly started whispering to Emilia.

Subaru: Emilia, I don't think we can really stop him. So you should let me go with you.

Emilia: But-

Subaru: I know that you didn't want me to come, but I want to make sure Regulus doesn't do anything stupid.

Emilia:....You're right....

When Regulus finished speaking, Subaru quickly stepped away from Emilia as she started talking.

Emilia: Well, I guess it would be fine for you to come with us then. Both of you can come.

Subaru thought that his eyes were playing tricks on him, but for a moment he saw Roswaal flinch a little.

Regulus: There, that wasn't so difficult, now was it? I consider it important that you listen to another human beings opinion, that way you'll be able to grow and work on yourself.

Subaru: (Fucking hypocrite...)

Roswaal: Well~ It's about time to head inside, no? The Royal Election is aboooout to start, after all.

And so the four of them went inside with Subaru looking slightly pale.

Well, Subaru truly didn't expect any of this, how could he have? He knows that he changed some small parts of what actually happened, like not entering the carriage with Priscilla and coming here directly with Emilia, but it shouldn't have caused this kind if butterfly effect, right?!

Subaru said that he came here to make sure that Regulus doesn't do anything rash, but Subaru knew that he really wouldn't be able to stop Regulus even if he tried.

So the only saving grace is that no one will probably insult Regulus, so he won't have to worry about him exploding in the middle of the meeting.

As Emilia and Roswaal went to stand in the middle of the meeting room, Subaru and Regulus went and stood with the knights, which really gave Subaru some bad memories of this place back.

Well, as long as neither him or Regulus exploded in anger, then everything should be fine.....Well, except the racial abuse Emilia is about to recieve, but there wasn't anything he would be able to do about it.

Reinhard: So you came after all, Subaru. When I heard Emilia-sama would be here, I suspected that you might be here as well. And greetings to you too Regu-

Regulus: Corneas-sama.

Reinhard:..Corneas-sama.

Subaru wasn't sure but...Did Reinhard look slightly....sad? When Regulus said that?

Subaru: Yea, nice to see you too, Reinh-

Felix: Reinhard, i've been looking for you!

The catboy seemed to notice the black haired boy.

Felix: Hiya, Subaru-kyun!

Subaru: Ah. Hey there, Felix.

Reinhard: You know him?

Subaru: Yea, I met him back at the Mathers domain.

Felix: Nya? It's pretty impressive that nya could tell that I'm a guy.
