The day was cold and cloudy but what day isn't, for me it might as well always be like that, my work sucks always dealing with my idiot students, bakugo is impossible to keep out of trouble, Mineta just is impossible to manage, Kaminari is just pleasant to teach with how stupid and naive he is it's always wonderful to walk him through the problem 18 times and he still gets it wrong, yaourozu, midoriya, iida, and ururaka are my best students but even they can be a pain at times honestly the best part of my day is coming home to see eri smiling, it's been several months since I was tasked to take care of her and she's the only one who gives me a glimpse of joy at this point, she's gotten attached to, she even calls me dad at times, actually almost always which I consider to be something that brings more joy than any

Eri: hey daddy, can you make breakfast please

"Yeah sure, just... give me a minute ok" I look at her and she smiles then hugs me and runs off. As I get up I get a notification on my phone, a message from all might that reads

"Hello Aizawa, I was informed earlier that our school will be teaming up with another for a event of sorts, I still don't know the details but I figured I should let you know ok"

I sigh after reading it and get up. I'll ask mic or something if he has more information on it, for now I'll just get Eri fed. I grab my scarf and my clothes, get dressed then head downstairs to see Eri watching TV "will you eat bacon and eggs?" I ask

Eri: yes please

I go to the kitchen and get to work, the meal is simple but I think I went over board making 5 omelets and 15 pieces of bacon. I sigh as I hear a knock on the door "who could that be?" I ask myself as I walk over and open the door

Mrs joke: hello Aizawa

I slam the door shut immediately and start to walk away but she knocks endlessly Making me annoyed. I go back and open the door "what do you want"

Mrs joke: a smile

"No" I say and slam the door again, and again she goes back to knocking, I see Eri looking over here a bit confused so I take a deep breath then open the door again

Mrs joke: had a change of heart

"You can come in and tell me why your here, then leave got it" I say and she just walks in, I see Eri looking at joke a bit confused then runs over to me

Eri: daddy, who's your friend?

"She's not a friend, more like a annoyance" I look at her and see her pouting a little

Eri: you shouldn't say that about your friends

Mrs joke: especially when there your girlfriend

"Shut up, you aren't and never will be more than a thorn in my side, and you aren't my lover" I pick Eri up and take her to the table, I set a plate of 5 bacon strips and a omelet infront of her then place down two more plates each with two omelets and 5 strips of bacon "here,  I made extras earlier so feel free to eat" joke sits down at the seat infront of me and starts eating

Mrs joke: so... what's with your daughter

"She's not technically, my daughter, though might as well be like that after I was tasked with taking care of her"

Mrs joke: so... adopted I'm guessing

"I guess, though at first i wasn't to happy about it, I do see Eri like a daughter"

Eri: and I see him as my daddy

She smiles and my eye's soften a little as joke pats Eri's head, I'll admit I'm feeling better than I did earlier but I need to go to work in a few minutes. I eat the rest of my food "I need to get to work, so should you joke" I say as I get ready to leave
