"Scarlet?" The Doctor asked telepathically.
"Yes, Theta?"
"How are you feeling?"
"A bit better, thanks. I really wish I could get my powers back sooner, you know. I feel useless without them."
"Why would you think that?" The Doctor asked. After she lost her powers, The Doctor tried to tell her multiple times that she didn't need to have them to be a useful person. She also had a unique mind and personality.
"Look at today, for example. You had to go deal with the problem all on your own while I was sitting with the world's most annoying man."
"You looked after the passenger with Charley. I think that's more than enough. But did Rathbone say or do something?" The Doctor frowned. He knew that she didn't like Rathbone but she would never call someone in that way.
"No, not really." Celestia tried to avoid the question.
"You do know that I can tell when you're lying, right?" He looked at her seriously.
When she was about to reply, Charley started talking. Celestia was very glad that she was saved from answering his question.
"Doctor, does this mean that there are other worlds past the sun?" Charley asked him
"A million planets circling a million suns, Charley, where the starlight makes colours which human eyes have never seen." He said loudly before he started talking telepathically to Celestia: "We're gonna talk about it later." Celestia looked at him, surprised. She felt like she wouldn't be able to get out of this talk at all. He always wanted to know what bothered her even when it was something insignificant.
"If you insist." Celestia told him.
"Regardless of visible indications, have you got that?" Tamworth continued talking to Weeks.
"You two have been there, haven't you? You've really been there." Charley asked the Time Lords who remained silent. They were listening to what others were talking about.
"Regardless of visible indications. Got that, sir..." Weeks repated what Tamworth said.
"Like you two really have met Geronimo and Lenin." She began to laugh. "Just think. Yesterday the furthest place I could imagine was the terrace of the Singapore Hilton." She explained.
"The Singapore Hilton. We met a Venusian there. Or will do after your time." The Doctor said.
"Why the Singapore Hilton?" Celestia asked suddenly.
"Oh, a long story." Charley paused. "No, not really. There's this boy, well, man, I met not long ago. A trader, works all over the world, mostly in the Far East. Said you haven't lived until you've had a gin sling on the terrace of the Singapore Hilton while the sun goes down. I made him promise to meet me there on New Year's Eve. He just laughed, so I thought, stuff you. Come hell or high water, it's a date." She explained to the Time Lords.
"So that's why you smuggled yourself aboard the R101." Celestia realized.
"Karachi to Singapore, that's no distance at all." The Doctor remarked.
"A slow boat across the Bay of Bengal and I'm there. Long way to go for a date, I suppose. Seems even further now." Charley said as they felt a movement. "We're moving again." She said.
"Climbing into the light." The Doctor said.
"Doctor, is this real? Is this really happening?" Frayling asked, excited.
