Bree started to pull on it and y/n used her powers to bring the elevator up
"Great bring it up another 5 feet and it should raise the elevator to the second floor landing. Come in Bree use your strength!"
"I got it! I got it!" Bree accidentally snap the cable and y/n lost control and was about to fall but Chase used his super speed and tackled her to the ground before she could fall. The elevator fell in between floors 'B' and 'G'
"I don't know my own super strength. Sorry y/n"
"Your fine. I'm fine" Y/n said as they got up.
"Great idea Adam. Now there's..... one cable holding the elevator" Chase said as he used his fingers to count to 1
"Ooh Chase can count to one! Bravo! Now I know why you guys are always making fun of me so much. I'm stupid!" Adam said.
"Ok Bree let's try again ok" Y/n ask. Bree nodded and she went back in front of the elevator. Chase followed her wanting to be there in case something happens

"The traction cable will sever causing the elevator car to vertically free-fall until it crashes into the basement. Crushing it and everyone inside. Oh and don't forget y/n will be pulled down with it" Y/n looked away trying to ignore the last part. Chase walked to her and hugged her from behind. She turned her head and looked at him
"Just in case" He smiled at her. She shook her head but was smiling. She felt butterflies and her face hear up.
"But you guys will be able to do it. Chase let her go she won't be able to use her powers if you clinging onto her" Chase left go and walked to the wall.
