Storm Warning - Part Two

"Close. They're carrion feeders." The Doctor said.

"They live in the Space Time Vortex picking over whatever scraps they can find." Celestia said as well.

"I'm afraid this one must have followed the trail of our Tardis." He pointed between himself and Celestia: "Squeezed itself through the gap made in Space Time as it made the emergency exit, then burst out a few moments behind."

"You two know a lot about these creatures." Rathbone said.

"We rode them bareback at the Academy on Gallifrey." The Doctor laughed at the memory.

"You mean you did." Celestia laughed too. "I was forced to do other things at the time." She rolled her eyes as she thought of that day. She was forced to work on her powers at an early age when all she wanted to do was play with The Doctor and her other friends.

"But if you remember correctly, we still managed to sneak out the same night and you got to ride them too." The Doctor said, trying to cheer his friend up.

"Yes we did." She remembered what he was talking about and she smiled fondly at him. He really knew how to make her happy.

"Who's this?" The Doctor asked as he heard a moaning in background.

"I don't know, Doctor. I just found him here. I don't think he can breathe through this contraption." Charley replied.

"You just leave the passenger alone, doll. Not your concern." Rathbone said.

"I don't like this man." Celestia telepathically told The Doctor.

"Neither do I" The Doctor told Celestia in her mind before talking in a normal voice: "A very special passenger to be held in a sealed cabin trussed up in a deep-sea diver's suit being fed oxygen through all these tubes. And I think Miss Pollard here is right. You are having trouble breathing, aren't you?" He said as they heard a gun click, making Celestia gasp.

"You're a doctor? Well, you show some regard for your own health, eh? Now, stand up and leave the passenger be." Rathbone said, pointing the gun at The Doctor.

"Don't do anything stupid." Celestia said, trying to calm herself down before she did something to the man.

"Have care how you speak to me or you'll be next." He said pointing the gun at her for a second before he turned to The Doctor again.

"Rathbone, a revolver isn't at its most effective when held by a man with a half-eaten and scalded forearm." The Doctor said, starting to get angry.

"I can manage." Rathbone said. "Now, you say the creature's coming back. You know so much about it, you can kill it, right?" He questioned.

"It's all right. The nasty bird thing is gone now. I think he's getting better." Charley said.

"You see? The girl can stay here. I want the other girl here too. They can help me make the passenger comfortable. You two, go and sort out the" He said an Afrikaans word. "The dinosaur." He finished off.

"Us? How?" Weeks questioned. "I'm a steward, not a big game hunter. And as for this Doctor fellow, well..." The Doctor interrupted him.

"Don't worry, Mister Weeks, we'll find a way." The Doctor said. "But I can see by all this medication around that this passenger needs more than a touch of T.L.C. to keep going. Hmm, there on the table, Mister Weeks, is that a shot of morphine?" He said as he lifted the syringe.

"What, in this here syringe?" Weeks asked, confused. "That's what it says on the label."

"Good, bring it with you." The Doctor said. "That's if Mister Rathbone has no objections, of course."
