Make it look pretty,
but train it to kill.
"All that blood on you looks good. It really brings out your eyes." She mocked, her lips curling up into a sarcastic smirk as she flaunted the small pocket knife she was holding. The male duke lay disgraded on the ground, his worn fingers grasping at his midsection, trying to hold in his warm, red blood from the knife wound she had just inflicted on him. Her eyes gleamed in delight as he let out a little cough.
"W-who... who are you?" The man managed to gasp out as tears streamed down his wrinkled face.
To this, the female raised her eyebrows. Her lips parted in thought, as she stared at the dying man. After a few seconds, she shrugged.
"I would pull the whole 'I'm your worst nightmare shit' but I suppose it doesn't matter if you know who I am..." She muttered, crouching down to meet him in the eyes. "Since your seconds away from death anyway." She concluded with zero remorse, flashing him a quick smile as she flicked her knife in between her fingers, threatening the male with it. When he realized what she was doing, he tried to pull his battered and bloody body away from the grinning female.
"The name is Morrison. Lily Morrison. And I- " She paused, grabbing the man's neck and pulling his limp figure to her stomach, holding him in an arm lock.
"And I am an assassin. Why don't you go say hello to the Lucifer for me~?" She whispered, giggling when his eyes flashed in fear. She brought the knife to his neck, holding his head tight when he tried to pull away from her. She applied pressure to the weapon against his neck, dragging it along the soft and tender skin, successfully breaking the skin and slicing open his esophagus. The warm and bright colour of his blood splashed on her hand and knife, causing her to groan in annoyance. What a bitch that will be to clean out of my clothes.
She rummaged through the duke's house, desperately looking for a note and a quill to write with.
Her search was short-lived when she found his desk, which occupied on top had just what she was searching for. Her fingers greedily reached for the two objects, as she began to write a letter.
I'll be coming to collect my payment for this work shortly. I'm quite far away from you at the moment, and I have some extra errands to run before I make my way to your place on my steed. I'll arrive in two fortnights, on horseback.

She reached up and shoved two of her bloody fingers in her mouth, letting out a sharp whistle that alerted her raven that occupied her where she travelled. The dark-coloured bird dove from the sky, its wings beating frantically as it made its way over to the female. Its beady eyes rested themselves on her figure, as it landed on the staddle of her horse. It reached out its foot eagerly, awaiting the instructions of its owner.
She gently grabbed the limb of the creature and tied the note onto its body. "This one goes to Hayden Mandrell from Blackwell Creek."
The bird launched off of her steed with a whoosh, its feathers glistening in the sun. She watched the bird in awe at its ability to fly until it disappeared from her line of vision.
She reached into her knapsack that was wrapped around her leg and pulled out a ragged but long piece of leather paper. The material had a list of names which most of which had all been scratched out. There were only two names left at the bottom of the list which was left untainted by the ink. She bit her lip in thought as she crossed out the second last name from the paper, roughly covering it with the black marking. She scanned the list, her eyes making the way all the way down to the very last name on the list she was given.
