I could see it in your eyes,
The pain you're trying to disguise.
It's hidden beneath the surface,
All the feelings that make you feel worthless.
Even though you've tried,
All your efforts have been denied.
It's like you're bound in chains,
And the pain remains.
You struggle against the current,
But the water pressure is your biggest deterrent.
How can you be saved from all your pain,
When you'll never truly change.
