Lust Actually

Chapter 1

"Hi, Im Gin and you are?" sabay lahad ko ng aking kamay sa kasama kong aplikante din para sa final interview, pero tiningnan nya lang ako at ang kamay ko sabay baling nya sa ibang direksyon... Oh well, ang taray..., tsk tsk... Hindi ko na lang din sya pinansin, who are you anyway? Umupo na lang ako sa katabing upuan habang nag aantay kaming tawagin. Pagkatapos ng ilang minuto,

"Ms. Buenaobra?" "Yes Mam?" sagot ng mataray na babae. "Follow me please". At tumalikod na sila. Makalipas ang ilang minuto , tinawag na din ako..

"Ms. Montanez, you're next". Ngayon lang ako kinakabahan ng ganito. Inayos ko muna yung pencil cut dress ko at saka sumunod na sa tumawag sa akin. Huminga muna ako ng malalim, bago ako pumasok sa nakabukas na pinto.

"Good morning Sir." tipid kong bati. Hindi ko masyadong makita yung mukha nya dahil nakayuko pa sya habang may binabasa nya yung resume ko. But he's so familiar to me.. His scents ...

"Good morning baby, how are you?" sabay ngisi nung lalaking kaharap ko. My jaw dropped. Fvck? Just what the hell is this??? I can't forget this face even if we've seen each other in just one night, and im fvcking nervous right now. Damn! Why am I being here? Kung bakit sa dinami dami pa na pwedeng pag aplayan ko.

Still I composed myself, " I am fine Sir, thank you. And oh by the way my name is Izygn Montanez Sir not... baby". Parang walang anuman na sinabi ko. Duh...

"Oh... Have a seat then. And don't you want to call me by my first name? Im sure you love to say my name as I remembered it right". Nakatitig sya ng matiim sa akin na parang nanunuya.

"Ahm no Sir, i don't think we've known or seen each other". I said without blinking.. I can do this.. This is so awkward eh?

"Oh so you're playing hard to get now.. Hmm in anyway, i love the chase over cat woman". He smiled showing that devilish grin....

"I am so sorry Sir, but I think you mistook me for someone else? I mean.. I don't even recognize you.. Sorry.. And if you'll excuse me? I quit already". Sabay tayo ko and walk out.. Hindi pa ako nakakalabas ng pinto ng may tinawag sya sa intercom nya.

"Ms. Marquez, please escort Ms. Montanez to where her cubicle is. She's hired as my personal secretary". What?? 

Ms. Marquez rush inside the room, "Sir?" salubong ang kilay nya.. "I'm confused. Are you replacing me?" sabay irap sa akin.

"I won't take the job Sir if that is to replace your EA. And besides the post i was applying for was HR or slash Admin, Sir". sabat ko.. "And why on earth I get to have an interview with the CEO when I'm just applying for an admin job?!" parang gusto kong idagdag sa sinabi ko.. Pinagdiinan ko ang salitang sir to let him know that im not into him. Kunot noo nya akong tiningnan sabay ngiti, showing his perfect teeth... Damn.. 

"Oh yeah, i mean no.. But still the same though". sabay balik nya to where he was sitting. What?! Ang gulo nya actually. Jusko Lord!! Bakit ako nandito? Is it a karma? No.. Why would I be? Dapat yung mga lalaki yung kinakarma, not us woman! 

"So be it, you can start today. Guide her, Ms. Marquez. Thank you." he just said without having a second glance at me...

"Oh I am sorry again Sir, but I can't really start today, I have a prior engagement." Paliwanag ko... Well, it's true... I really do.. Okay. Convince yourself more Izygn, you might as well convince the heavens' above. Yeah right, I'm getting a weird feeling now. 

"Whatever you wanna do, Ms. Montanez, but be here tomorrow at exactly 8 in the morning. We have something to discuss.. And don't be late", tumalikod na ito at bumalik sa kanyang upuan, ako nman sunod sunod na hakbang ang ginawa ko para makalabas kaagad. Damn that guy! How on earth we get to meet again? Should I back out? I never signed any contract pa naman.
Should I? Oh come on, Gin... You're not a loser! Yeah right, im not.. Okay.. Lets do this!

Ms. Marquez, accompanied me to HR dept and the staff made me sign contracts and other documents that needed to be accomplished.. Im not familiar with everything except of course I cant be fooled, so i read every single detail in the contract.  Im hired as HR Admin... Okay cool. But i noticed some duties stated in the contract. I also act as assistant secretary? Huh?

"Excuse me.. Err, im just confused with my job description.. The assistant secretary? Is it really in the contract? I mean how can I do that? The HR dept is in 2nd and 3rd floor while the CEO is in 29th floor.. Is this even possible? Sorry, its just kind of confusing", nalilito kong sabi.

"Oh that? Mr. CEO, instructed us to include a secretarial duties. But we will also compensate you. Which is written in here."
"You will also be sharing a room in 29th floor with Ms. Marquez. It's just temporary though. Ms. Marquez need some assistance too.. You'll get transferred here naman in a month" tumango tango na lang ako kahit na naghihimagsik ang kalooban ko. This company's weird..

After signing and all, I waved goodbye to Ms. Marquez and decided to go straight home. What a day..
