A huge smile was plastered by his coral lips and whitish teeth across his face but it's not her who's the cause of his smile anymore.

It was Mijoo who stole her spot.

The smile which Mijin found the most beautiful became a huge pain stinging inside her chest whenever she'd realise that it's made by someone else .

The someone who can make Jongseong smile like when he's with her.

It really bashed her heart inside.

The blissful smile on his ethereal face soon faded away when his cold gaze met her sad eyes. They felt distanced as if they weren't destined soulmates before. Weren't soulmates supposed to end up together like always?

❝ Jinjin and Jayjay together forever. ❞

The memories were even sharper than knives to cut her soul into pieces. It took down the strongest side of her in a withering manner and resulted in her with a broken heart.

All of his words were made up lies.

All of the love he'd given to her was just a trap.

All of the moments that they spent together meant nothing to him.

She couldn't be more foolish than this ever in her whole life. No way in hell Mijin's gonna surrender for love ever again.

❝ Let's go Jay-ah. ❞ Disgustingly dragging the distracted boy by the arm, her stepsister Mijoo sent a death glare at her now. How unbelievable. The rat literally stole her boyfriend and now the thief was acting like an owner.

Their baffled eye contact didn't last longer than ten seconds.

Mijin had given up on her hopes of wanting to believe that all of this was a misunderstanding. It seemed like he meant their break-up after all....

She wasn't special to him, just one of the toys which he'd used to play with.

But for some uncertain reasons, Mijin couldn't move on from that jerk who's unwontedly her first love and taught what love actually is. But the way he concluded, in the end, made it so obvious that love's nothing but pure pain which will stain like a wound deep inside of her.

Tears slipping down her watery eyes automatically got wiped away by her reddish hands as she refused to express her weak side in public which people would likely judge.

But a particular guy who's watching all the things happen from afar felt his heart broke to analyze the girl crying like that.

Taehyun didn't know why he felt sorry for her either as well.

❝ Can we have a small talk? ❞ , questioned the boy with blonde strands as his eyes expressed seriousness and dedication for Mijin's heartbreak. ❝ What is it? ❞ Giving the blonde an impatient look, Jongseong asked while flipping his hair back. He seemed so relaxed. Completely the opposite of how Mijin was being.

It really felt unfair and Taehyun disliked it so much for some reason.

❝ Why the fuck did you break up with Mijin? After all the things you guys have been together through? What's so fucking special about Hwang Mijoo anyways? ❞ Losing a bit of temper, Taehyun just hinted a clue about how sympathetic he felt to Mijin cause the poor boy could relate.
