You slid down from the wall, clutching your torso in pain. You didn't remember how it happened; you were just fighting a monster, the height of a tree, helping a girl who had recently killed herself find peace. (I remember those weird guys said that if the monster is defeated they find peace or something 😅)

Now you sat there heavily breathing and unable to move a muscle. But before passing out, you saw a yellow blob running towards you.

Ai POV kinda?

Having finished a monster earlier than expected, even with out wounds this time, Ai went to go home.But while passing next an alleyway, she heard heavy breathing getting quieter by seconds.

Concerned, the girl went in the alley, for her eyes to widen and gasping in shock; as a teen her age clutched their waist, bleeding from a serious injury.

She ran towards them, but before she was able to ask the person what happened, they closed their eyes and passed out.

Ai managed to catch them just in time, before they hit the cold concrete floor. "C'mon love, we're getting you outta here!" (Sorry I just imagine Ai with an accent 😅)

The girl put an arm around the unconscious teen's waist, putting their one arm around her shoulders, bringing them to her home.

Time skip

You woke up, not knowing where you were, but whimpered in pain when your waist stinged. Suddenly, someone pushed you down on the couch, their hands on both your shoulders; talking to you softly.

"Hey hey hey, lay back down! You'll hurt yourself again."

The female with the sunflower hoodie, who you could identify as the yellow blob from before, spoke.

She put her rather cold hand on your forehead, hissing through her teeth as she felt your burning forehead.

"You have a fever. Hold on a moment, I'll be right back!" She gave you a teethy grin.

You studied the girl's features from the couch; sitting up carefully. Her black-blue hair, her blue and yellow eye, and her chubby face made your cheecks a light shade of pink.

Had this girl saved you from death?

Something cold interrupted your thoughts. The girl had put a damp towel on your forehead, soup in her other hand. As you are, you learned many things from her.

From who she was, to learning she was just like you; trying to get her very first friend back.

You answered some questions as well. Such as, what your name was, to who you wanted to get back. It was your older cousin, but as you were getting tense explaining, she changed the subject.

"Uhm...do you, maybe wanna stay here? I mean, you're still hurt and...I kinda enjoy your company..."

She was right. You didn't have a place to stay. All your relatives were either dead or you broke the contact to them.

"I-I would...very much like that..." You smiled a little.

You heard her giggle and she pulled you into a hug.

"Well! Than I think I did great in helping a friend!"

That evening, you and Ai fell asleep on the couch, your head on her shoulder and her head on yours.
