Next class was Potions, sixth year Albus Potter was making his way from the Slytherin common room to the Potions classroom, when he finally reached the right door which had two lines of students in front of it, he stood next to his cousin, Lucy. Just then, a creak of a door and the figure and face of their potions Professor, Professor Langston appeared in front of them. The class went in and quickly scrambled around for tables, Albus, his cousin, Lucy Weasley, and his best friend, Lucas Flint, went to one table. Next to them sat his other best friend, Scorpius Malfoy, Amber Nott, and Erica Lawson sat at the table, right across from them, Martin Baddock, Amelia Caldwell, and Kalie Paul sat at the table. Then, the Potions Professor's voice echoed through the dungeon.

"Hello, class, today we'll be making Polyjuice Potion, a potion that makes your appearance change to like someone else, it takes a month to brew, but is definitely the most cope-able and least dangerous of all the potions we're learning this year." Professor Langston said. "First, add precisely 10 Lacewing flies." Lucas measured exactly ten flies and Albus brewed them for 50 minutes. "Second, add leeches, precisely 5." Albus added five leeches and Lucy brewed them for 10 minutes. "Next, add Knotgrass, two handfuls of it." Lucy picked two handfuls of the Knotgrass and dropped them into the potion. Albus mixed it. "Now just add a piece of shredded Boomslang skin, and leave it to sink in." Langston said.  After adding the skin and leaving it to sink in, the class filed out.

"Albus," Lucy said as they were fighting the crowd. "I saw you looking at Amelia about ten times today, what's up with that?" "Nothing, I just— er— wanted to see how her potion was going." Albus lied. "And how could you even do that?" Lucas interjected. "The farthest you could see was the front of he cauldron." "Well, a bit of her potion was dripping onto the front of her cauldron." Albus said. "Albus, snap out of it." Lucy said. "Fine," Albus said, dropping his voice so only they could hear. "I've— I've got a bit of a crush on her." Albus said. "Albus, that's honestly fine," Lucy said. "She's got one on you, too." "No, really?" Albus asked. "Yeah, she said, you know I'm her best friend." Lucy said. "Well, see you around, Albus, Flint." Lucy said. Albus watched as his cousin Lucy Weasley disappeared through the doorway of the Hufflepuff common room, with a tiny smile on face.
