Interview with the Yokai

" Let's go Mari-chan can't hold Benihime-san off for long in a fight, bakeneko's aren't really fighters," Noriko said and took off running.

" Is Toyama-san that much stronger than Mari-san? Mari-san seemed to have beaten her pretty easily on the roof," Shoji asked.

" A heartbroken yuki-onna is a lot more powerful and a lot more driven, you have to be very careful Shoji-san, if things get bad, you just runaway," Noriko said.

They ran out of the school entrance and headed to the left where the sports complex was. Shoji hoped that Mari had been able to stop Benihime from reaching the soccer pitch, but if Benihime was as strong as Noriko said she was, he worried about Mari being in danger. Noriko was running ahead of him, when she turned and dashed into the patch of wood that lined the walkway between the school building and the sports complex. Shoji followed her in, he instantly felt the chill in the air, it made him wish he was wearing a jacket. Before Shoji saw Benihime, he heard her screaming, quite livid. As soon as Benihime came in sight Shoji understood why, infront of her was Tanahashi, looking terrified, rattling off excuses. Tanahashi the unlucky bastard, he must have run into Benihime by accident, this was the worst possible situation. Shoji went to jump in and was stopped by a hand on his shoulder.

" Stop, stay back and wait," Noriko said, already in her oni form.

" If we don't do something Tanahashi-san is dead," Shoji said.

" That's not Tanahashi-san, just wait," Noriko said.

Shoji waited like he was told, it was hard to do, while he didn't want Tanahashi to die, what really made it hard to watch, was seeing just how broken hearted Benihime was. Shoji noticed tears slowly coming down Noriko's eyes, she was finding this hard to. Then there was silence and Benihime moved in on Tanahashi, but Tanahashi leaped in the air, spun, and knocked Benihime in the jaw with a spinning heel kick that knocked her off her feet. As soon as Tanahashi's feet hit the ground, he transformed into a split tailed grey cat and ran off. Benihime was stunned as much from the kick as from Mari's deception, before she could get up, Noriko was on top of her, moving with more speed than Shoji thought she was capable of. Noriko pinned Benihime to the ground, using her own mass to keep the girl from moving.

" Please calm down Benihime-san, I know you're hurting, but we can't let you do this. Let's just talk about this, girl-to-girl ok?," Noriko said, but a second later she was jumping off of Benihime shaking her hands.

" What the hell are you thinking Noriko-chan, stop being such a softy, take this fight seriously. You have to knock her out, stop worrying about hurting her," Mari said as she leapt out of a tree in her cat girl form, slamming both her feet into Benihime's chest, with a dropkick, that sent the yuki-onna stumbling backwards. Noriko looked conflicted, but with a sigh, she ran at Benihime, with incredible speed and went to knock the girl out with a lariat. Unfortunately, the lariat never landed, it smashed into a wall of ice that bursted into a million ice cubes upon impact, but kept Benihime safe from harm.

" I don't want to hurt you two, but if you don't leave me alone, I can't guarantee I won't," Benihime said her voice as cold as the air around her.

" Come on stop throwing a tantrum and use your head. You want to kill Tanahashi-san, I don't really have a big problem with that. I do have a problem with you doing it in the stupidest way possible. Here's a thought, why don't you lure him to somewhere private and give him the kiss of death? No one suspects you're a yokai and you get your revenge. Great plan don't you think, if you calm down we can work out the details, i'll even help you out, once you kill him, i'll reincarnate him and have him jump in front of a train or something, no one will suspect you," Mari said.
