Interview with the Yokai

Chapter 2

Where Benihime had stood now stood a girl whose skin was white as snow completely devoid of color, with long white hair that came down to her waist, even from where he stood Shoji could sense the cold she radiated, it was obvious she was a yuki-onna. Next to Benihime stood the girl that had been Yayaka, she had sprouted what looked like bat wings from her head and from her hips, with a pointed tail, she radiated even more of a sexual presence than what Yayaka usually radiated, could it actually be a succubus? With quite a bit of trouble Shoji took his eyes off of Yayaka and looked at Mari, the girl had sprouted cat ears, whiskers, and was covered in fur, she had a tail, no she had two tails, a bakeneko. Finally Shoji looked at Noriko, she had grown, was far more muscular, had two horns growing from her head, and her skin was red, there was no mistaking that she was an oni. The girls seemed to be momentarily stunned, but soon became aware that they were transformed and that they were naked, it was also at that moment that Shoji became aware he was also very much naked. Shoji would have been embarrassed, if not for the fact that in that very instant he felt a dark aura almost slam into him. The aura almost choked him, there was so much malice in it.

" You pervert, how dare you! You are going to die for this, all perverts should die, you are the worst type of man that there is!," Benihime was screaming. She looked like she had gone completely mad, her white hair was was floating around her, even though there was no wind and Shoji could feel the air start to go cold. Shoji's mind was screaming at him to run, every single survival instinct that he had in his body was screaming run, but Shoji was stuck as if he was in a trance. There was a disconnect between what his survival instincts were telling him and the reality that Shoji now found himself in. There was no way this was real, there was no way he was in the situation that he now found himself in, he could not force himself to believe that this was real and therefore could not force his body to react.

" Watch out Shoji-san!," Noriko screamed at him. What seemed like a blizzard had formed in front of Benihime and was heading straight for Shoji freezing everything in its path. Shoji braced himself for impact, thinking that this was how his life was going to end, frozen to death, naked, on top of the school's roof by a mythical creature that shouldn't even exist. Before Shoji could make peace with the death that was approaching him, a huge red wall got between him and the blizzard, granting him a reprieve. Shoji saw Noriko's massive Oni body standing in front of him, she shook and ice flew of her back. She had saved him! She had thrown her on body in front of Benihime's attack and it was for that reason and that reason alone that he wasn't a boy flavored popsicle.

" Move out of the way, that pervert is going to die! He brought me dishonor, do not protect him!," Benihime screamed and seemed to be getting ready to attack again. Noriko was shivering and Shoji didn't know if even the Oni could take another blast from the Yuki-onna. What should Shoji do? Should he run? Would he even be able to get past Benihime?

" You stupid ice bitch, you hit Noriko-chan," Mari yelled. The Bakeneko leapt through the air and landed a punch on Benihime's jaw that knocked the girl over, the crack of her fist on the Yuki-onna's face rung out in the air. Benihime tried to get up not deterred by the punch and got a swift kick to the ribs that knocked the air right out of her and caused her to sprawl on the ground.

" Try getting up again and I won't be giving you any more warning shots, I'm pulling the claws out," Mari said.

" That's enough Mari-chan, you to Benihime-chan. Fighting like this isn't going to get us anywhere let's all just take a breath and calm down," Yayaka said seeming to be completely in control.

" She's right Mari-chan, I'm ok, there's no need to keep fighting," Noriko said. The girls all seemed to be preoccupied with putting an end to the infighting. Shoji finally got his body to respond to what his mind had been yelling from the start of the confrontation and ran. He moved around Noriko and forced his legs to move as hard as he could make them. Shoji's feet were screaming in pain from trying to run barefoot on the roof, but he didn't care, he had to get away from this crazy situation, he had to make it to the stairs.
