Midoriya Was seated in his homeroom class, class 1-A, talking with a small group of friends. Talking wouldn't really be the best way to describe it really, it was more or him listening to what they were saying while his eyes fixated on a tall, spiked ashy blonde boy, Bakugou. The greenette's hands gripped at his desk, his knuckles going white. He didn't quite understand why. Why him? Izuku had always been there for Bakugou, hadn't he? So why did they redheaded, no good, man-stealing shark get all the attention? While midorya can't lie, the boy was well built, quite attractive and friendly, he he didn't understand how Kirishima had earned both the trust and friend ship from the boy he so desperately longed for.
His thoughts we're interrupted when someone had grabbed his shoulders and begun aggressively shaking him back and forth in his chair, causing him to snap out of his daydream. He looks away from the shark-toothed boy and comes face-to-face with a short girl with about mid-length hair, brown, bug-like eyes, and permanently rosy cheeks. "U-uraraka! Sorry, was I mummering again?" Izuku waved one hand frantically around as the other scratched at the nape of his neck. "Deku? Whatcha always spacing out for?" the girl blinked slowly while trying to sound as genuine yet cheerful as she could manage. Ochako cocked her head slightly to the side, holding her hands behind her back. Izuku went back to hap-hazardly waving his hands in the air, "I-it's nothing! Really, I'm fine!" it's true Midorya had been daydreaming often during conversations or during class, as he often tried to fill his head with any explaination on why Bakugou would get so close to someone. Or how someone could get so close to his kachaan. His. The word had a ring to it, a pleasant one at that. Uraraka straightened her back out again, standing back up from bending down next to the small boy. Todoroki opens his mouth to say something when the last bell of the day rings, and as annoying or deafening it may seem most of 1-A let out a collective sigh of relief.
Midorya waved goodbye to the small group of friends and approached the blonde across the room. "Hey, Kachaan! I wanted to ask if your be up for sparing lat-" "go the hell away, you worthless nerd." Bakugou interrupted the offer with a sneer and a dark glare, sending chills up the greenettes spine. Kirishima watched the two from the next seats over, ready to break up a fight that could very well occur at any moment. "You didn't need to intterupt me, Kachaan!" Izuku raised his voice slightly, knitting his brows together in a sad attempt to look intimidating. Bakugou eyed the boy head to toe before darkening his glare and waving izuku off.
~Midorya's PoV~
I trudged down the busy halls of the UA dorms building, I should've been paying attention to my path, but instead of had my nose in my journal. I was muttering to myself about some newbie pro hero's qurik when I ran into something. I stumbled back a bit before looking up at the person in front of me, the boy was only a couple inches taller than me, with a strong build and bi-colored hair. His eyes were sparkling as if excited but his face showed no emotion, next to the piercing blue eye was a gray one, covering the left side of his face was a pretty gnarly scar, although to say the least it added to his beauty.
"Midorya," Todoroki started, "some of our classmates would like to ask if you want to join us in a 'game night' as they call it." I looked over to the side, seeing a pile of maybe 8 to 9 teenagers, setting up pillow forts and making neat snack bundles. I hope from each kids face to see who was exactly there. My eyes set on that shark-toothed smile, following his arm which was wrapped around Kachaan's neck. How in the world is he allowed to do that? Normally the explosive blonde would've blown you up on the spot if you even looked at him wrong.
I glace back over to Todoroki, putting my hand back at the nape of my neck, "sorry Todoroki-Kun, maybe next time?" Todoroki nodded slowly before strutting back over to the group. I continued off to my room, ignoring the class behind me who were staring holes into the back of my skull.
After I finally got to my room, I opened my door to let myself in, as I went to close the door something had wedged itself in between the door. "Hey, man. You doin' okay? You don't seem like yourse-" "go away, Kirishima-Kun" I'm not in the mood for his shenanigans.
Kirishima put a hand on the door to keep it propped open,"why don't you tell me what's goin' on? I can help you know." his words were cheerful, his face was smiley. I opened the door wide enough to take a step out, forcing Kirishima to step back to avoid being walked over,"I said. Leave." I spit out every word before slamming the door in his face. Does he really think I want to talk to him? Who the hell does he think he is! I lock the door, keeping my back pressed against it until I heard foot steps slowly fading out of earshot.
As soon as I'm sure he's gone, I push myself up from off the door as walk to my bed. I shrug my school bag off my shoulders, dropping it against the bed frame as I climbed onto my bed. I grabbed a pair of crumpled shorts I had thrown there this morning. I slide my uniform pants off, working my legs into the pair of bland, red shorts. I cross my legs as I unbutton my blazer, I slip it off my shoulders and grab my school uniform. I roll them into a ball and toss them into a corner. I bend down to grab my notes from my bag when the back of throat starts to tickle. I clear my throat out, hoping it'd help the tingly feeling, but alas it does nothing.
I dig a pen out of my bag, continuing to try and get the feeling out of my throat as I try to focus on my notes, going over today's lesson In mathematics. The tickle makes me cough, only slightly, but on thing leads to another and next thing I know I'm hacking into the inside if my elbow. I feel the tickle in my throat turn from uncomfortable into a raging sore, I finally cough whatever it was up that started this whole coughing fit. I glance down and notice a small red petal. I pick it up between my index and thumb, running my other pointer along the ridges. What in the world? Did I just cough up a petal?
