It felt like you and Pico have been walking for a while. It was nice, really. Quite relaxing. You felt..safe near him. You couldn't tell if it was because he had a gun, or if it was just something else.
Either way, you hoped that this would become a daily routine the two if you did together.
The two of you remained silent, but it was a comforting silence between the two of you.
There was something about Pico, but you didn't know what it was. He just often made your heart flutter, yet you had no idea why. You weren't sure how something can be so badass, yet so adorable at the same time.
You didn't really realize you had been staring at him for a little while, but as long as he didn't notice, you didn't care.
If he noticed, though, you'd probably die right there on the spot.
Immediately, you looked away from that type of thought. You really didn't feel like being questioned on why the hell you were staring.
This was when Pico stopped for a moment, listening. You stopped next to him, looking at him in confusion before you backed away in surprise as he lifted his gun quickly and aimed it, beads of sweat appearing. He seemed very nervous now. How strange.
You looked where he was pointing, but there was nothing there. He was paranoid, but you couldn't really blame him.
You hesitantly tapped his shoulder, making him flinch as he slowly lowered the gun.
"Pico..?" You spoke in confusion, looking at him in concern. "Are you-?" "I'm fine." He interrupted you, taking a deep breath as he pulled you over and held your hand tightly. You didn't mind it. "I'm just..I thought I saw something. I guess I'm just seeing things, sorry. Didn't mean to worry you."
You shook your head, smiling slightly. "No worries."
As he escorted you the rest of the way to your apartment, you looked at him for a moment. "Pico..? Are you going to be alright out there alone? If not, I have an extra blanket on the couch you can use."
Pico shook his head, looking away. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. Besides, Keith is expecting me to come back home, so I can't keep him waiting, I guess."
You slowly nodded, smiling awkwardly at home. "Thank you for taking me around today, Pico. I'm glad I got to hang out with you together.
Pico took a deep breath, nodding towards you. "No problem. I'll.. see you later, then?"
You grinned slightly. "Well, duh."
Pico smirked back, waving bye to you before you watched him disappear in the darkness.
You sigh in exhaustion as you slowly made your way back to your room. You don't know what you were feeling. The only thing you knew you felt was exhaustion, because that was a regular thing to feel.
Sleeping seemed easy at first, but it felt like you were awake for twenty minutes, yet you were sleeping. And it wasn't until then when you truely woke up from thunder in the distance.
You frowned, immediately growing nervous as you curl up and cover your face. Thunderstorms always will creep you out, no matter how old you are.
Thunderstorms have always scared you since you were a child, and though it didn't have much àffect now, it was still hard to sleep in the. You were ways tense, especially in the loud ones.
Despite this, though, the thunderstorm seemed non-existent, and you were able to fall asleep.
------
It was a few days later, almost a week. You woke up on the Friday morning. Or, what you thought was morning anyway.
It's already officially been a week since you've first arrived here, and you already had a lot of fun experiences.
You went to the mall with girlfriend a few times to get you some good clothes (in which all times you forgot to ask for your mood stabilizers. You're such an idiot), you hung out with Pico and had a daily practice session with him (and he told you that you already sound wonderful when you weren't even trying that hard), you even hung out with Keith a few times (you always tell yourself to set a constant reminder on your phone to not win too many games).
You were mostly excited about Friday.
You already have a reminder to ask girlfriend for your mood stabilizers back, and you yourself really feel as if you have improved in singing. But that wasn't the main reason why you were excited.
Keith told you that a guest was coming to the hang out area.
You were excited to meet them, because he mostly told you that the guest will do anything to be everyone's friend, he gets along with everyone, and he comes bi-weekly. You were excited to met the new guest.
You move to the side, checking the time before cursing to yourself. You promised Pico a practice round 2 hours ago. It's 12 in the afternoon now.
You sat up, opening the lock on your phone. You were about to apologize to him profusely, but noticed you weren't the only one to wake up late.
Pico🏵️
Sry I didn't msg,
I woke up very
late for some
reason, sorry
about that. We
might not have
time to practice
tho.
You slightly sighed in relief, replying to him.
Pico🏵️
It's all good. I
woke up late too,
we're both in
trouble, lol.
The reason that you wouldn't have time to practice was because you were planning on going to a restaurant with Keith, Cherry, and Pico before going to the hang out a bit early, since there was a thunderstorm warning for tonight. You weren't too happy to hear about that.
You quickly got up, looking through your closet. You weren't too sure on what to wear, but you decided to wear one of the new outfits Cherry helped pay for, despite your protest.
And you made sure it had a pocket this time.
You got dressed into it, finding yourself to look snazzy in it before you headed to the bathroom.
You looked at yourself before you thought. Did you really need to take your antidepressants today?
Your depressed thoughts have calmed down a lot ever since you started speaking with Pico, and there was one point where you didn't even need then for a day.
But at the same time you were going to be singing in front of people and meeting a new person.
If you want to not have a anxiety attack today, you might have to.
Your bipolar was really toning down, though, otherwise. And you were happy about it.
You decided to take them just for today. Maybe limiting the number of medications you take will help. Or maybe it'll get worse, who knows.
You swallowed one, before setting the bottle aside. It was no longer being put in a box, as you had already unpacked the bathroom items and organized everything. Wasn't perfect, but it was enough.
You heard your phone vibrate as you were looking at how you looked in the mirror, looking to see who messaged.
This time, it was Cherry.
Cherry🍒
Heyyy, we're picking
you up first since
Pico slept in. Or did
you sleep in too? 😤
You snickered slightly, replying to her.
Cherry🍒
I slept in, but
you can pick me
up. I'm already
ready to go.
Good, because we're
already waiting for
you outside lmao
You blinked as you stared at the phone with a blunt expression before looking out the window. You saw Cherry smirk and wave towards you as Keith sat in the driver's seat, probably texting Pico.
Quickly, you ran out the door and locked it behind you, getting in the seat behind Cherry. Before you could say anything, Cherry quickly handing you your mood stabilizers, making you shut your mouth.
"Uh, yeah, duh I already know your thoughts." Cherry snickered playfully as Keith smirked, before pulling out the driveway.
