You then turned off your phone, walking back towards the group with a happy sigh. It was a long day.

After all the funk was over, everyone parted ways. You hugged Cherry tightly with a smile. "Thank you for taking me here, Cherry. I'll definitely be coming every Friday night now."
She smiled, giving you a nod before waving as she headed to her car with Keith. "No problem. Bye!"
You sighed deeply, rubbing your eyes as you thought for a moment. You know where home was, but you didn't want to bother Cherry to drive you again.
That's when Pico walked up behind you, placing a hand on your shoulder, making you look back at him.
"Do you need help getting home? It's quite dangerous in the dark." He asked you. You couldn't help but to feel happy he was concerned for your safety, but you nodded. "I'd appreciate that, thanks."
As you two started to walk away from the area, you saw him twirl his gun while looking at his feet. It was a nice skill, but you couldn't help but wonder if it was something he did out of nervousness. Sort of similar to you, who likes grabbing things a bit tightly for the comfort of it. It was distracting.
"Hey, Pico?"
He hummed, looking up at you as he grabbed his gun to make it still.
"If you don't mind me asking," You started, biting the inside of your lip, "Why do you carry a gun around?"
He stopped for a moment, looking away as he thought. You thought you struck a nerve and was about to rapidly apologize before he answered. "I have a lot of trust issues and paranoia, that's all." He sighed, putting away his gun in his pocket. "Mostly for situations like this, not very safe in the dark. Why? Does it make you uncomfortable?"
He looked back up at your gaze as you hitch your breath, looking away. "It did at first.. but now that I know why you have it, I don't mind it at all, really. I'm sorry if I hit something in anyway, I didn't mean to. Just pure curiosity was all." You spoke out awkwardly.
Pico simply shrugged, taking out his gun to twirl it again. "I get that a lot. People end up scared of me and creeped out cause I'm the dude with the gun. Glad you weren't one of those people, ya'know? It's nice to meet a new person that's not scared of you again."
You smiled slightly, the tensity leaving your body as the rest of the way, Pico and you chatted to each other while he walked you home. It was nice having another person to talk to. You couldn't help but to think you forgot something though. You decided to ignore it, shrugging It off. You didn't want to get into a bad mood.
Eventually you reached home, you walked up to your apartment as you saw the time, about almost 10 pm.
Pico waved bye to you before he started to walk off. "I'll let you know when I'm home safe." He chuckled towards you before disappearing in the dark.
You seemed dazed, before sighing, closing the door behind you and walking back inside your house.
You were exhausted, but once again, your body didn't feel like sleeping.
You decided you were going to shower before you went to bed.
You got clothes to sleep in out from the closet, heading to the bathroom as you hung the clothes, looking at yourself in the mirror.
You definitely looked exhausted.
