The Dream

You had a rough mission it didn't go so well all of you almost lost the battle but the last seconds you won you had some wounds but not too life-threatening you walked to your room, laid down, and fell instantly asleep a few minutes later bucky woke you up and made you sit down in his lap he holds you by your hips grabbing your head bringing it to his face and he kissing you passionately not saying a word but what you didnt notice was that bucky took out a dagger and stabbed you multiple times he laughed at the sight of you bleeding you tried to yell for help but you didnt hear your voice you heard a gurgling sound you collapsed on the floor a fain call of your name

Bucky: y/n wake up come on wake up

You shot awake with cold sweat tears running down your face Natasha and steve ran through your bedroom door they saw you visibly shaking from fear of bucky you looked him in the eyes and he saw your fear he tried to get close and comfort you but you pushed him away

Natasha: hey buck why don't you let me handle this

He looked at her staring at her for a few seconds and standing up and agreeing Natasha sat next to me and stroked my hair she felt my discomfort and told steve to take bucky with him somewhere else they walked out

Natasha: hey what happened

y/n: I had a nightmare

Natasha: what happened in this nightmare

y/n: I got back from the mission and fell asleep and I guess I woke up in the nightmare by bucky and he sat me on his lap and he kissed me passionately

Natasha: okay take your time honey im here

y/n: and...and he took out a dagger I didnt notice since I was so into the kiss

I paused and struggled to say the next part

y/n: he umm he stabbed me multiple times and I couldn't help because blood was already in my throat and he was just standing there laughing at me

I broke and started to cry she hugged me and I fell asleep on her shoulder and she went to talk to bucky and steve

Natashas POV

I walked out silently closing the door and I saw bucky passing back and forth worried of y/n he heard me and he just stared at me with glossy eyes steve speaking for him

Steve: what happened

Natasha: she had a horrible nightmare

Bucky: oh god

I slowly started to speak

Natasha: in this nightmare, she woke up to bucky and he asked to sit on her lap and you kissed her passionately and then you grabbed a dagger and stabbed her multiple times and laughed at her while looking at her dying

Bucky: holy shit

He put his hands up to his face he looked horrified that she would ever think of him like that he loved her we all knew it the way he looked at her he has been very happy since they have meant he was a shy silent guy before y/n and now she was afraid of him

Bucky: im going to stay with her

Natasha: I don't know bucky.

Bucky: please I need to protect her from the dreams

Natasha: okay she's sleeping now so please be careful

Bucky: okay

Bucky POV

I slowly opened the door and closed it, I pulled a chair and watched her scared that she will have another nightmare but she didnt she woke up the next day and she saw me I walked to her and sat next to her hugging her she hugged back slowly

Bucky: im so sorry I hope you know I would never do that

y/n: I know im sorry I was afraid of you bucky I was in shock

Bucky: I get it, honey

She held me tight not wanting to let go and I held her as tight I laid down next to her and she fell back asleep Natasha came in

Natasha: how is she

Bucky: shes ok now

Natasha: great

She walked out and I fell asleep with her
