I took my silver shoulder bag and took my bag of coins that my father gave me before coming back to hogwarts and slipped it into my silver bag, i also took my wand just in case and slipped it into my dress pocket which left it unseen, finally i wore my coat, said bye to the girls and left to meet up with cedric,
As i walked up to the gates many guys looked my way and some fourth years wolf whistled while i passed by, i paid them no mind but smirked at the attention all the boys gave me,
I saw a mop of fluffy brown hair standing among others and i recognized it at once, one of his friends nudged him and he turned around, he was wearing a simple white shirt with black jeans, and a jean jacket with fur on the inside,

he looked very handsome as he parted with his friends and came my way, his jaw dropped,
"hey, you look- really pretty" he said looking at me up and down, i felt a bit overdressed but lavish clothes and dresses were all i had, he looked cut in his simple outfit,
"thank you, you look good as well" i complemented back, "shall we?" he ushered outside the gate as we both gave our permission slip to filch and professor Mcgonagall,
after awhile of talking i let my nerves disappear and become my usual confident self, i avoided any prejudiced topic because of two reasons; 1:i was still lacking what maddie calls manners when talking to none pureblooded people, and 2: i didn't want to blow off my chance with him,
once we arrived at hogsmeade we started looking around till we decided to go to honeydukes as a start, but i couldn't shake that feeling of being watched but every time i looked over my shoulder no one was looking,
"come on! have you at least tried them?" i took the small box of crystallized pineapples and opened it having going to pay for it anyway, "no! i hate pineapples, don't mak- mhmm" i shoved a small piece of my favorite candy into his mouth stopping him from protesting any more, "it's good come on chew it!" i chuckled at his scrunched up face, he chewed a few times and made a disgusted face, he ran towards the counter and spit the chewed up candy in the bin, i laughed a bit,
"it's not that bad!" i tried to reason with him but he just looked confused saying, "nope! it is that bad to me"
after looking around a bit and buying some sweets we decided to leave and have a drink at the three broomsticks, which was packed with people and students, even though i would have preferred to sit by the corner only two tables were available at the moment so we had to sit in the middle,
"i heard the butter beer here is amazing" cedric commented after taking a seat opposite me on the round small table, that didn't look that clean, i avoided touching the table and kept my hands resting on my lap,
"well i hope it lives up to its reputation" i replied smirking at him as he simply grinned at me, a waitress came to our table as we ordered our butter beers,
