→ as much as you wanted to seem like you were ok, you obviously weren't and the only emotions you could feel in the heat of the moment were anger and sadness → you scolded him for being too reckless as you pressed his head against your chest, not wanting him to see the tears fall → without his mask and the blood on his face, Inosuke would have looked like he was just falling asleep → but you knew that wasn't the case → you kissed his forehead to let him know that you were ok and that he can close his eyes now

→ this was one of the few times you saw Giyuu's stoic expression break → he looked at you with such sad and regretful eyes that he reached his arm out to wipe some of your tears away → "I don't like seeing you cry." is what he said to you but how could he say that when he's the reason behind your tears? → you didn't want your lonesome look to be the last thing Giyuu sees → so you quickly tried to stop the tears from coming and gave him a reassuring expression that things were going to be ok and that he could rest easy
