Everyone seemed to be getting closer except for ty and jamell, tay and JoJo are obviously confused, kentrell and kam argue so much im pretty sure that's just there excuse to hangout, and me and von are friends.

I watched jamell go into the library which was weird but the perfect time to talk to him, i followed after him " aye mane" I whispered

Jamell turned around seeing me he sighed walking down one of the isles " stop sneaking up on me nigga" he mumbled

I rolled my eyes smiling " what you doing in the library" i asked

Jamell laughed " tryna find some place quiet but i cant even do that" he said

I nodded " so, we gotta talk about what you said before ty and them got here" i said

Jamell rolled his eyes turning around looking through the books on a shelf " not negotiable" he said

I sighed " your the only one that has a problem with them, we had never even heard of them till you came to my locker trippin about not want to be any where near ty" i said

Jamell put the book he was holding back on the shelf " fuck ty and his gay little friends, do what you want but don't come around me if your with them" he said walking away

I stood there for a second even more confused, i had never seen him that bothered by anyone before. I sighed walking out of the library down the hall i was knocked out of my thoughts by someone grabbing my arm to stop me.

I turned around seeing von " wassup d, where you running to" he asked

I shrugged " you seen ty?" I asked looking up at him

Von nodded " in the cafeteria earlier, hes hiding from our homeroom teacher... Why?" he asked

I laughed " i gotta ask him something" i said

Von leaned against the locker nodding " you want me to come with you?" He asked

I shook my head " nah, i'll see you later though" i said before starting to walk again

I walked to the cafeteria opening the door seeing the room was more or less empty beside ty who was so obviously sitting against the wall behind a table.

I sat down at the table smiling " aye ty" I said getting no answer for a second

Ty sighed standing up dusting himself off " if i get detention that's on you" he said sitting down

I laughed looking over at him " i got a question" i said

Ty nodded " what's up?" He asked glancing up at the clock and back at me

I sighed " why do you and jamell hate each other so much, I mean i get it none of us are supposed to tolerate eachother but it's worse with yall" i said

Ty went quiet for a second staring down at the table, he had a look on his face that i couldnt exactly understand.

I looked at him confused " you good?" I asked

Ty looked up at me smiling " yeah, so my mom was friends with jamells mom so he was the first friend I ever had" he said

I could tell he wasn't finnished so i decided to not say anything, just to listen.

Ty started fidgeting slightly " we would play outside and shit, we both was in the struggle so every time he got a new toy and i couldnt he would run to my house and give me one of his old ones" he said

I smiled imagining that " he's not much of a sharer anymore" i said

Ty half smiled but that soon went away " all through grade school we had all the same classes, we ate lunch together, played basketball together. We did everything together so when i turned eleven i realised something, something that scared the shit out of me" he said

Ty sighed looking back down " so i stopped talking to him, never went back to his house, and tried my best to ignore him completely. As we got older we both found our way outside and into the streets. Two different ways. And by that time i was so caught in it that when the older niggas told me he was a opp that was just a better way for me to get over the fact that we couldnt talk anymore" he said

I frowned " well... There isint a better time to fix it right" i said

Ty shook his head " nah bruh it's better this way anyway" he said

I looked at him confused " how is this better? You can talk to him" i said

Ty rolled his eyes " I already told you i can't" he said

I crossed my arms " why? Give me a good reason" i said

Ty stood up shaking his head " what I realised then is happening again and it still scares the shit out of me. So leave it alone" he said walking off and out of the cafeteria

Why does everything in my life have to be so complicated.
