UNSTABLE [Pico x Reader]

Chapter 3

Out of the corner of your eye, you swear you thought you saw something behind you from the mirror, but as you turn to the door, it was gone.
It was probably your mood stabilizers wearing off. Or your antidepressants. You were too exhausted to remember which one did what job.

To be safe, you closed and locked the bathroom door before you got ready for the shower.

Soon after taking one, it was a pain to leave due to the nice warm water, which made you really tired now.
You got dressed before jumping into bed, looking at the time on the phone.

It was 11 pm now. You always did take forever in the shower.

You noticed Pico had sent you a message about thirty minutes ago.

You smiled as you were unusually happy that he was safe, deciding to text him back.

I'm glad. I just
took a shower
and got myself
tired, lmao.
Night.

You turned off your phone, hearing it buzz again. You guessed it was probably Pico telling you goodnight back, so you ignored it, curling up in the bed and falling asleep. You'd definitely get used to this.

"Say your prayers."

The next morning, you woke up, sitting up in bed as you rubbed your eyes. You checked your phone, noticing two missed texts from Pico. You seemed surprised at first, removing the charger from the phone as you unlocked it, checking what he said.

One text was from last in a reply as to telling you goodnight. You were glad he responded with that.

But the second text was from it a few minutes ago.

anything today?

You closed your eyes in thought. Cherry did tell you something from today, but you couldn't remember.
You rubbed the place where you head injury was to try and remember before it clicked. Cherry told you she was going to be out all day with her parents, so you didn't necessarily have anything to keep you busy.

You replied to Pico's text as you started to brush your hair.

even practice some of
your singing a little.

Oh yeah, he did say he would help you get better at singing.
It was almost as if the memory of last night flew out of your head. You were so overly exhausted, it was hard to remember, so everything kind of just came back one by one. You were tempted to say yes for the sake of being his friend, because he genuinely seemed look a cool person to you. You hoped he would warm up to you.
You decided to finally text him back
