•And what happened to everyone else
•That was not a happy time
•But
•As things progressed and the new paladins learned how to control their lions
•Things got better
•Sure,,,, your friends were going out and battling evil, risking their lives almost every day
•And sure,,,,,, neither your sister nor Coran would let you step a foot outside
•And s u r e,,,,,,,,,, no matter how hard you tried, Shiro wouldn't let you anywhere near the black lion
•I don't remember my point here
•A n y w a y s
•Your crush on Pidge only grew
•Something about her
•She was smart
•Funny in her own way
•Adorable
•And I could honestly go on about all the things you loved about her
•And these were all things you loved while you thought she was a boy
•T h e n
•Allura told you she was actually a girl
•Lemme tell you,,,,,
•B o i w a s S H O O K
•(Boi being you)
•It didn't change much though
•You still loved her
•And,,,,
•You planned on telling her
•You also had the perfect way to do it
•Your father left your sister his memories but he left you something more special
•Well, it was really just more special to you
•Allura would actually probably prefer the memories
•But this place
•This place was amazing
•It was in a secluded part of the castle that no one else but you and him knew about
•A room where you could stargaze
•Or cloud gaze
•Or bask in the sun
•Or cry in the rain
•A room where the sky was whatever you wanted it to be
•You wanted it to be just mere miles from Earth's sun?
•Well, guess what?
•That's what it was
•And it was special
•So special
•And that's exactly why you wanted Pidge to be there with you
•So you told her you wanted to show her something
•And she complied
"Where are you taking me (Y/n)?" She asked. You just looked forward with a smile.
"You'll see." You replied. She shook her head with a laugh. You came to a wall sheathed in navy blue curtains. You looked over to Pidge, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
"You brought me to... A wall?" She asked, looking unamused. You laughed before moving aside the curtains. A wall with two suns was revealed but it still wasn't enough to impress Pidge. You placed your hands on the suns, causing them to emit light. Her eyes widened as the two walls separated, showing a never-ending field and a bright sky above.
"Is this a secret entrance out of the castle?" She asked, walking inside. You joined her, the walls shutting behind you.
"No silly. I'd show you something cooler than what you see every day. Sit down and watch this." You said, sitting down and patting the spot next to you. She did so and looked to the sky, glad the sun was covered by the clouds. You closed your eyes, thinking of a starry night sky. You opened your eyes, smiling as your imagination merged with real life. Pidge, however, wasn't as calm as you were.
"Holy shit! What just happened? How did that happen? Who made-"
"Pidge, for once, don't worry about who or why or how or what, and just... Enjoy it." You whispered, your eyes never leaving the stars. She looked at you and then back at the sky, relaxing slightly.
"Do you know why I brought you here?" You asked, glancing at her equally mesmerized and mesmerizing face. She shook her head, never taking her eyes off the sky.
"My dad made this room just for me and said that I could share it with anyone I wanted, as long as they had a special place in my heart. The only person I used to let come on was my father but now he's gone and... Well, you hold a special place in my heart too. I thought it would be appropriate." You replied. Her facial expression changed instantly. It was a mixture of several emotions you couldn't entirely pinpoint. You decided the best thing to do was continue.
"I like you Pidge. A lot. Like... So much. I hope you recuperate these feelings." You said. She turned to face you and although she wasn't saying anything, you felt something. Something that compelled you to lean in and close your eyes.
Pidge looked from your lips to your closed eyes. She was panicking. Yes, she liked you back and yes, she really wanted to kiss you but... You didn't know she was a girl and that was wrong. She knew you had fallen for Pidge, not Katie.
"(Y/n)... Stop." She whispered, your lips just inches from hers. You opened your eyes and pulled away.
"I'm sorry. I seemed to have... Misread the situation." You mumbled.
"What? No! It's... It's my fault. I want to kiss you! I really do! It's just... I haven't been completely honest with you. I'm not who you think I am. I'm actually... I'm actually a girl." She said, looking away. Your mouth fell open and after about a minute, you burst out into uncontrollable laughter.
"Oh, my quiznak! Pidge, I know!" You shouted. She turned to you, watching as you rolled on the floor with laughter.
"You... You know?" She asked.
"Yes! I've known for quite some time actually. Alura told me." You replied, sitting up and regaining your composure.
"Allura? But how did she know? I bet it was the mice. Why those little-"
"Pidge?"
"Hmm?"
"Can you please kiss me now?"
